Since the day Mt. Sinai Cathedral began, our church has been built on purpose. Using Christ's Great Commandment and Great Commission as our blueprint, every service, program, event, and ministry has been designed to fulfill one of the five purposes Jesus established for His Church.
At Mt. Sinai we use the terms Mission, Membership, Maturity, Ministry, and Magnification to describe the purposes of evangelism, fellowship, discipleship, service and worship. The secret of Mt Sinai's health and growth has been our intentional plan to give equal balance to all five purposes.

Somebody should tell the sister (First Lady perhaps?) seated on the platform in the navy blue that it's so very *DISRESPECTABLE* and *IRREVERENT* for her to be texting on her cell phone while prayer and intercession is being offered unto the Lord in the Sanctuary during worship services. She should know better and it looks unspeakably shameful, especially because of her position. May God forgive her.
