btw I got my Rc2 in one week if you file for individual and roughly 3-4 months for trust. I would buy a suppressor now because wait times are really good atm.
@@forcefrontier I think you are just thinking about this different. Like qcb would be both of us on or close to the same car. Obviously engine block and steel wheels are the only cover on a modern unit.
@SmuhB this is a common myth. Stacking pillars is less ideal, but from the rear of the vehicle definitely the best form of cover offered. You should check out the ballistic tests out there on the stopping power of the pillars.
Absolutely! We will continue to publish more material like this (maybe even do a long form video on this topic) as well as online courses on our website. Thanks for the feedback!
2 on the vest 1 on my belt 1 in my rifle. Need to be mobile and carry other necessary equipment. Urban tactics are very different from an overseas deployment. At the end of the day it’s all about trial and error and ultimately preference.
Hi, great video! Fellow LE here...any issues with storing the plates in the truck with freezing temps? I'm in the northeast and it gets cold up here, just wondering if it can damage or diminish the effectiveness of the plates. Looks like it gets cold where you're at too, any issues you've encountered? Thanks!
The whole thing was a wwe level event. He didn’t get shot. The bullet grazing an ear makes no sense. The only way secret service lets guy get that close is if man protected tells them too, the kid was a patsy. Trump does not get up like he did, take a time Magazine cover photo and stand there like that unless he knows he’s 100 percent safe. People just aren’t using common sense here. He’s never shown that temperament his entire life. He was slightly behind a useless Biden, saw this episode on tv and said let’s do this…
I just wish there was more info on their website for which model 2.0 or 3.0 is good for tall/big guys. Most carriers I’ve tried on are small I have big shoulders 6’3 250
You are correct about weight, wearing my PASGT and MICH all day in the Marine Corps was brutal. My neck hurts to this very day, running around all night with our NVGs made it even more gnarly. I feel like the lighter beginning weight and keeping things as simple as possible is optimal. I just base everything as mission specific.
Fantastic episode! As a seasoned BJJ BB that trains LEO. Very informative and helps validate some of our experience’s and tactics we teach. The dogma of traditional BJJ positional hierarchy has limitations and caveats when in the weapons based environment. Especially through the filter of Law Enforcement.
“Defeating the retention” this is why yall are going out of style. I’m surprised I didn’t hear “bring the weapon system down with my unorthodox hand” or some other bs terms y’all love to use to make it sound like yall are tactical
We want to be precise with language in our classes…there are specific strategies we discussed earlier in the day on how we can draw more efficiently from level 2 or level 3 holsters. Here I am simply reminding students on that process.
I have shot in the summer heat, shot rounds in rapid succession getting the barrel hot, and left it in my hot truck for months at a time and haven’t had any issues with it. I will update if I do!
Order a size up. I ordered the size that fits me and then with plates and mags in the cummerbund it was too tight. Had to order another cummerbund and gave the smaller one to my cousin
@@forcefrontier there is, I was just on the higher end of the size range. My cousin was about 4” smaller than me so it fit him perfectly. When I sized up I had the bungee tightened almost all the way
You can run this grip either direction, it's really just user preference. I run it "backwards" because it closely resembles the angle presented on most modern handguns. This angle also allows for me to keep my wrist rigid and straight to better control recoil. If you read the description from BCM they say it can be run in either direction.
@@forcefrontier I'm 28, not much of an age difference I'd say. Hard to justify 30 seconds of talking VS "Hey, this foregrip is placed exactly where I prefer it for holding."
@forcefrontier this guy came to the comment section on youtube to complain about a youtuber talking in his video. That's like going to a library amd complaining that people are reading. Ignore this idiot.
U.S. Military have published their CQB manuals over thirty years ago...does this mean we are better preparing terrorists to combat our operators? Just sharing my preferred rifle setup for other likeminded prepared citizens. No need to read further into or make some outlandish devil's advocate claim.
Then what is your take on stories of people wearing plates but still getting broken ribs? Im trying to find anything to prove or disprove that you can, and was wondering if you think it's still a possibility at all.
There have been single digit recorded incidents with these types of injuries sincethe 1990s, and every single on involved a user of body armor being shot by rounds their armor was not rated for. Blunt trauma is not a major threat in real conditions
Nooo this is good but they should have there rifle by there hip and start from there have a full withdrawal trains that initial movement to draw there weapon and helps alot in fire fights🔥🔥🔥🔥
0.85 sec draw from the holster six shots on five plates eight inch at five yards. Firing from the time the pistol clears the holster. Muscle memory… point aiming…
Usually I see people starting with their hands in the air. Which adds about a quarter second. My cousin likes to try to go under one second but it's a little irrationally fast
I start hands up a lot as well definitely adds some time! For the Man Card Drill you are allowed to game it by resting your forearm on the handle of the gun.
