Good Video! How many Ikarus 280T are in service on each days and how long they will stay? How many bus, trolley and tram types are there out on weekends? And when are the heritage Buses, Trams and Trolleys out?
Hello, as of right now only 1 ikarus is currently in service and during the weekends it doesnt operate and it will probably stay for quite some time, and when it comes to bus, trolleys and tram types, you can see bmc procity, skoda solaris, tatra t6a5, etc. Feel free to look for more info by clicking the links in my bio which will lead you to the forum of Sofia public transport
@@sofiatransport9062 The links didn't worked, I had to copy them, but it was impossible to informations, because of the cirill letters. But yeah, it's cool, that this tram was out, even it was sunday. I saw a photo, when an Ikarus 280T was out on the 16th of July 2023, which was a Sunday, but probably this is rare. I read on Wikipedia that the Tram Lines 4 and 5 are temporary routes. What does that mean? Where can I see the schedule plans of all bus, trolley and tram lines? I know there are many questions, but I need to decide until tomorrow, that I come or not. And even then it will be on the first days of September. Is it possible, that in September there will be more than one Ikarus 280T in service? And this one Ikarus 280T that is in service nowadays, was it out on this week every workday in service or not? I'm also asking lot of questions, because I don't want to repeat the thing, that was in Krakkow this year. I gone there for the old Trams (SGP E1-C3, blue Konstal 105N) and the heritage Buses on the 15th of August, but when I arrived last Saturday (12. 08. 2023.) there weren't heritage Trams, altough the RU-vidr there written saturday the day for the heritage Trams. Okay, it turned out that the heritge trams are out at Sundays, but on Saturday midday I got the information, that the old regular Trams don't go in service weekends, which sucked. And on Monday I got the info, that none of these trams went out in service. And on the 15th of August I hoped to get to ride with an Ikarus, but no, there were only 2 Nyista Minibuses there on Line M beetween Salwador and Cichy Kacik, on a 10 Minute ride, I was with both of them. So, it would be better not to go to Krakkow, because that made the ride 11 days long, because I was in Warsaw and Vilnius beforehand. And 11 days were exhausting, couldn't take the whole ride, and had a sad ending. To go to and from Sofia I must sleep 1-1 night in Bucharest, and getting there from Bucharest would take 10 Hours, so it would be better know all the details, all the public transport lines, types, schedules, etc, because I don't want to make that mistake again, that the contact is broke, and I don't know much. Krakkow looks good too, but without it, the ride were probably much shorter and better. The reason why I was there at that time to catch the old trams, which will be gone by end of the Year but I couldn't even catch them last Monday. The problem with the ordinary buses and trams was that almost all had the same interior, carpet, and dooor closing sound, which made the ride a bit boring. I see that there are many types in Sofia, but it is also far away, so it would be great to know where to catch the Ikarus 280T, because this is my reason to come there anyway, because it has folding doors and white carpet, which combination I didn't catch in Hungary.
Can you at least tell me on which lines is the only Ikarus 280T operating? I didn't found info about that, and it would be great to know, because Sofia is so damn far away from me. There isn't a direct train from Budapest to there, and I must spend a night in Bucharest, and even from there are 10 straight hours to Sofia.
@@oldbusfan796 Hello, yeah its uncommon for ikarus to operate on weekends, about tram lines 4 and 5, they have temporary changed routes and soon it will be back to regular, you can also see schedules on schedules.sofiatraffic.bg/ you can google translate the page to help you understand better and the ikarus operates on 5,6 and mostly on line 9
How many Ikarus 280T-s where there out this week? I'm asking, because I saw two Photos from Ikarus 280T-s on the 22nd of August on Line 6, so I see, that the Ikaruses are working nowadays too. I will go to Sofia beetween the 5th and 8th of September by airplane. On which Lines are the last 6 t8M-900m trams? And how many metro types are there in Sofia on the 4 Metro Lines?
The trams are actually not that old, they were made in 1985, but completely refurbished with an added low floor section in 2009. Recently, around the middle of July, these trams were put on service on line 6 and became the first low floor trams on the line. Line 4 now has the newest trams in the city - Pesa Swing.
