We’re Ryan and Poppy, a couple of adventure junkie sailors out to explore the most amazing reefs and islands in the world. We hope by documenting everything this lifestyle encompasses, we will inspire, raise awareness and support on going research to do our part in protecting these natural life systems.

Yeah definitely makes a difference with performance and helps protect the hull ⛵ Just wish there was a less toxic alternative. Glad you enjoyed the vid and really appreciate the support 🙏🌞
One day I will tell you the story of my small part ( but interesting) in trying to stop the housing development and marina happening and protecting the dugong and mangroves in the area...we lost...big money and politics won....😢
Saponaria officinalis plant in a pot, it is medicinal and the ancient Romans and Greeks, like us, used it for washing and bathing. Of course, it does not cause any harm to the environment. Greetings from Serbia
Wow that's soo interesting and a great environmentally friendly and chemical free way of washing ! Thanks so much for sharing that information, love learning different uses for plants 🙏 I have used Ficus coronata or sand paper fig leaves before as a scourer. Hopefully we get to visit Serbia one day !
You ar Always welcome, I hope you will come one day, looking at you I know that at least one of you likes good music, I heard Caro Luna - Lo Que Siento Por Ti, our exit is the biggest music event in Europe. And what regarding the leaves, my grandmother used to wash her wardrobe until her death by making a derdzent from ivy leaves, only the berries are poisonous while everything else is used in the pharmaceutical industry, take 9 leaves of ivy, cut it into smaller pieces and cover it with 250 ml of water, leave it for 24 hours, filter the liquid and You got detergent for washing, fresh lits give light green and dry yellow-brown detergent. and my grandmother always said that it repels insects (mosquitoes), she lived to be 97 years old, healthy, only her eyesight started to leave her after 95, once again a big greeting@@OnceUponAReef
I did not know who Jahvin was until the end of this episode . What I saw was a young boy enjoying life and having a WOW of a time on a boat with Mum Dad his Brother , Aunt and Uncle . To watch this episode and seeing such a happy group of people made me jealous . But the end , the bloody end , this episode sort off brings you back to earth . What a horrible disease this Bacterial Meningitis is . To destroy a Life so quickly and destroy a Families Dreams . My condolences to everyone . But for a special time on a boat , which you can see , Jahvin was so happy . Thank you for sharing this very personal time in you lives .
It was really hard to share this video but wanted to make something special for friends and family. By far the hardest and most tearful one I have ever made! So many people learnt so many valuable life lessons from this beautiful soul, so many lives forever touched in such a short time. Make sure to show love to those you care about as much as you can and live life to the fullest 💙
Your poetry is touching and a meaningful tribute. What a beautiful dedication. So glad you and Poppy were able to spend this very precious time with your nephew and family. RIP, Jahvin🌈
It's hard to bring any of this into words and these were by far not the only ones I have written but felt like I should share 💙 I hope it inspires others to spend more time with their loved ones
OMG, I’m crying to hear this news, he was just with you and so full of life. What a gift you gave him and he gave you to have spent this time together, life is so precious!
Ryan, my bro, oh my buddha! This has really moved me. Writing this through some tears. The candid and wholesome glimpse into this lil journey is such a treasure. Your poetry is bloody beautiful. Big love to you and the beautiful family of yours . Rest in peace and rainbows, Jahvin ❤⛵🌈
So much love to you bro 💙 He is always here looking over us and guiding us through this incredible life 🌈 cheeky bugger still even plays some jokes on us !
@@harpomorris1909 glad you enjoyed ☘️ We love learning the different uses for plants, especially as food 🌵 Prickly Pear is not actually from here and is native to America's so just have to be careful it hasn't been sprayed with poison
Once again I'm loving the poetry and everything else. RU-vid likes to tell me I haven't finished certain episodes which is a good enough excuse for a reruns. Keen for future episodes and when I start rewatching from the beginning I'll start sharing as well, hope it helps🤘☺️🤟
Love your channel, came here from watching the “Where’s Poppy” channel. I’m very curious to know your back-story and how you came to own such a nice boat at your young age? Not many can afford a life-style like yours?
It doesn't have to be super expensive to buy a boat, a bit of luck (right place right time) and a lot of work. Generally the more work your willing to put in the cheaper the boat will be. We also live a much cheaper lifestyle then say if you were to buy a house or rent somewhere. Being on anchor we don't pay rent, generate our own electricity and collect our own water and source fresh foods from ocean/islands/ and markets where possible. The main expense is maintenance which can be made much cheaper by planning ahead (having parts on hand when they can be sourced cheaper ) and by cutting labour costs by learning how to do as much as you can yourself or through friends. Doing all this we manage to afford this lifestyle by working regular jobs earning minimum wage. Hope this answers your question, happy to provide more detail if needed ⛵
Hi Poppy! Sea life has lured you in.. it’s magical to see the wonders of nature. Thanks for sharing this. I’m hoping you will have a good life and future ahead with your journey. 😊
Yes I am hooked! Can't wait to explore more natural wonders whilst learning about everything this lifestyle encompasses. Wishing you all the best for your life endeavours and hope it is filled with love and good fortune 💙
Hey, I see that you guys know Sage, I was following his videos and enjoying his adventures and then he suddenly disappeared about a year ago. There’s been nothing from him since , could you encourage him to do an update?
