I like making Black Lotus asap and running straight up the left after getting the first 2 oils and then using my generals promotion to sneak past the 2 tunnels guarding the base and I usually have enough time to steal the skud storm and use it on the gla.

In the wiki they say the quad cannon had an oversight that makes it actually less powerful with salvage, despite what the video shows. Originally, the rate of fire of the quad cannon was supposed to be 10 damage per 133 milliseconds, then 8 damage per 50 milliseconds on the first salvage upgrade, and then 8 damage per 25 milliseconds on the second salvage upgrade. However, the rate of fire is capped at every 67 milliseconds, so regardless of salvage, the damage gets capped at 8 damage per 67 milliseconds, this is what we see in the video. Yes, this is still better than without salvage, however, when the quad cannon reaches veterancy without salvage, it deals 11 damage per 67 milliseconds (then 13 per 67 and 15 per 67) Essentially, the quad cannon deals 20% less damage when picking up a salvage crate after reaching veterancy. They use it. They were a Human player.
