I'm on my 3rd XP3 and Im still hate it. Cannot turn off the auto fill thus can't text anyone. Even the tech guy at T-Mobile cannot figure it out. I can't hear any phone calls unless the speaker phone is used.
Do you know if there is a Canadian supplier that sells the headphone adapter I want to be able to connect wired headphones to listen to the FM radio at work but $49.99 USD seems a little steep for a small wire.
Just got the one without knobs with bell yesterday so far I love it calls work great, texting is good and sending pictures via mms is easy as well. This is exactly what I needed in a phone I am very happy with my purchase.
Will an unlocked version of the xp5plus work with Verizon? Or does the fact that it is GSM and Verizon is CDMA not allow it? I know an unlocked xp5s will work with Verizon but I would like to make sure the XP5plus will work before I buy an unlocked one Thank you
i wanted to buy the phone but they want brand new price here in canada for an old phone so i have to wait till sonim xp12 otherwise if i buy the phone META VERSE will kick me off in a year or so......
I've had the XP6 for 4 years now. Primarily because I have fat fingers and much prefer the feedback from a tactile button. The XP5 attracts me because of the big buttons but the XP6 is so well made I fully expect another 4 years from it so I'll wait. But thanks for the videos.
I just bought the xp5 plus yesterday and I can confirm that this phone does have a hotspot function, I won't use it but its there to use if you want to
I have an iPhone XS I watch RU-vid, use social media etc etc and I want a phone with a replacement bettery I was thinking of the fairphone but I don’t see that coming to the us at this point, in your opinion given listed my current phone would this be an upgrade? Should I wait for something like a sonim xp11 for a nicer screen etc etc.
Heard of this phone the first time. I am genuinely curious as to why would people buy this phone? If the USP is just the ruggedness, why not just buy a heavy phone case and screen guard? Thanks in advance!
A demonstration of the T9 texting would have been helpful to see exactly how it works. I'm finding out that T9/Predictive varies a lot across phones and some are way more tedious and dumb than others.
I have 4 Sonim XP 8' on Android 8.1. Sonim says all XP's should be upgraded to android 10 but the 4 I have won't upgrade. When I go to settings and update, it says that it is current but it's at the android 8.1. So I'm wondering if the vendor that these phones were purchased from had done something to the software to prevent it being upgraded to an android 10. Do you have any suggestions or ideas to get these upgraded to android 10?

How securely does the back cover stay? Because my current phone also only has screws on the bottom and unfortunately after dropping it a few times the top part doesn't stay all the way down/sealed. I feel this issue could easily have been avoided if the top part had 2 screws too. Please let me know as I'm looking at buying it, but don't want to spend my money on it if it has the same issue.

Have a new "build a phone" Son XP3. Having issues w installation of sim. The one which came with it, is too large to fit. Do I need to trim the Sim card? Please help!
