I got some fish from my local pet store recently and it really eat all my cyanobacteria. Check it out if you want. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vcJs3rG2Qvg.html&ab_channel=Moks_Art
I like how he’s doing some stuff and it fades out slowly like “ok there we go, he has the idea and he’s almost done.” Then the reveal is like GOTCHA! Totally different layout lol
Once after the BGA dies, it sticks to the soil /plants etc like a brush algae. Is there any fish or Shrimphs that eat the dead BGA bacteria..? Please help.
Chemiclean works awesome in reefs. But it is true you do need to increase the aeration. I lost an acro colony because my skimmer stopped working during treatment. I'm interested in seeing it work in a planted tank.
wow nice scape, great video, good job :) what do you think about my iwagumi layout? looking for your comments: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z93AN3GPNwU.html
Why the aversion to just sticking an airline in the tank as instructed for s few days? As i understand it, cyano hates O2 so i would think every thing you can do to maintain and boost O2 would be a benefit.
See now I thought this crap was just like regular algae, but my snails are reluctant to eat it and I have several species of snail and other little algae eating invertebrates that came in on some wild plants I collected. That's probably where I got the really aggressive cyanobacteria too. Wonderful.
I’ve been looking for a solution for my betas 20L ( 5 gallon) tank that has a scourge of the stuff and I couldn’t find a way of getting rid of it. I tried a two day blackout and completely removing everything out of the tank to scrub them down and get a large water change but nothing has helped but I’ll try some of the methods you showed and add a bubbler to try oxygenise the tank more. Although I have tonnes of live plants that are all growing very well and fast. I’ll try to do as I said add a bubbler but other then that I’ll have a look at other methods. Cheers for the video.
wow,Suprised to see so many aqaurists dont know that you can kill off the worst infestations- for good- with antibiotics. After all it is a bacteria more then a plant. Works 100% of the time with a broad spectrum.
wow... i think it takes around 2-3 hours for you to complete yours... 50 gallon is not little amount. Mine is merely 20 gallon... but already taken around 2 hours... not to mentioned you need to use the fish net to clear the floating leaves out... then need to use tools to suck out those leaves................ hahahahaha! but seriously saying, we gotta learn to enjoy doing it.. else it would be suffering while doing such maintenance errand. it is surely very enjoyable when we watching those beautiful aquascape...
