Great to see you making use of the A537 Cat & Fiddle and taking in the breathtaking views 👍 I live in Macclesfield so this road is on my doorstep, however because it’s filled with so many average speed cameras there are many other back roads that us locals use instead.
Actually, I feel sorry for the bike haha, and have concerns for you, but no worries. Stay safe, and if you can, always wear full protective gear hahaha peace out
Ha ha my bike don’t feel sorry for you buddy. Me and the Z900 are doing just fine. If you check my other videos I have all the safety equipment I need. AAA. You stay safe and have a lovely day son
I would recommend using all your fingers on the front. A lot of riders use one or two fingers and the brakes are so good on bikes that you can brake perfectly well doing this, however if you have to brake in an emergency you will naturally grab it with all four and lot more pressure than your used to applying!!! Ok if ABS is working but you can’t rely on it in an emergency
Audio sounds great! Glad to hear you’ve had success with the Røde Lavalier Go II 👍 Now you’ll need to experiment with the audio input levels (on my DJI Action4 the audio input level is best at -5dbA)
Thanks for watching bro. My new pov videos will have fixed audio. I wasn’t using the mic setting correctly. But rest assure content moving will have crisp audio for ya bro 😎
Should have got a Z650 as first bike, this bike is going to do your confidence in. It’s painful to watch you ride this machine, you are not actually getting anything out of it tbh.
Defo should have. I love this bike. And I’m riding it just fine and will get better. It brings a smile to my face. If it’s painful to watch don’t watch buddy!! Stay blessed! 🤙
Good, clean design 👌 You’re right to have chosen a more subtle design instead of flashy colours. The bike shop gave you sound advice regarding shin protection! 👍
Yeah I wasn’t ready for them flashy colour boots. I wasn’t feeling them. TBH I don’t love tall boots. But if I’m going for a long ride. I try to wear them
@@HamzaKhan-is5hj get the z900 or the MT 09. The the 07 is fun but you will grow out of it I think. Also I just got thr z900 as I love Kawasaki design. I couldn’t live without it ha ha But in terms of power you can stick it in rain mode, but I just think the bike only goes as fast as you allow it. Just be sensible and learn the bike and you will be fine. That’s what I’m doing. This is my first ever bike and it’s been good for me. So glad I didn’t get a smaller one.
From my other channel, see the result of my latest tour videos using a DJI Action 4 camera and a Røde Lapel Go II microphone. I don’t bother with blue tooth microphones because they’re expensive and I’m not very good in front of a camera. Use a dead cat over the microphone or Rycote Micro Windjammers that stick over a microphone inside your helmet. Also, turn down the camera’s microphone sensitivity to minus 6 and then work up from there. My camera microphone sensitivity is set to minus 4 which gives me a good balance of engine noise and audible voice, with not much wind noise.
Great advice. Thank you bro. I just brought the Rode ll and it works nicely to be honest I think I just didn’t have them pushed it properly so nothing was ever coming from the mic ha ha. 😂
@@spikemarleymoto only other advice I’d offer is for you to tour Europe on a bike with mates while you’re still young. I waited until I was almost 50 before I started touring Europe with my mates and can kick myself for not doing it sooner. There’s great roads to be ridden in Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Italy all with fantastic scenery.
@@spikemarleymoto one other thing, a camera can make or break your videos. I struggled with GoPro’s unreliability for years and kept upgrading to the latest GoPro in the hope it would be more stable, but the newer models became more and more unreliable. I’ve since switched to DJI Action 4 and every ride is recorded without fault. Subsequently I’ve relegated the GoPro as a secondary camera on my handlebars so not essential if it’s working or throwing a hissy fit. Another decent camera to note is the Insta360; I use the Insta360 for snowboarding, skiing and underwater swimming and have never had an issue with the Insta360 either. Hope that camera info helps and good luck with your channel 👍

@@spikemarleymoto it takes a while to get it set up correctly, and it is frustratingly time consuming, but will be worth having your rides saved on RU-vid for good memories.
Time and a place for those speeds in a built up area mate; beware of cars pulling out at junctions etc even if it’s green for you. PS Not having a go because I was young and enthusiastic too, but don’t want to see you knocked off your perch by a car not paying attention.
Watching that second key dangling loose and scraping over your tank made me wince. There are rubber protectors on eBay that fit over keys which will help prevent the second key from marking the headstock and petrol tank.
Great video mate, keep up the good work! 👍 The reason I liked your video is because you didn’t try tell us all the technical details which are available online, but rather your honest opinion of how it feels, how it compares to other products in the range and how it fits. Is there any chance of an update video of when you’re wearing it on the bike and what the airflow is like? I’ve got the Klim Marrakesh but after seeing this Knox Honnister I’m starting to wonder if I made the right choice.
Yeah I thought I’ll throw in my 2 pence. I’ll give a little update the next time I’m recording a few videos. I think it’s got great ventilation. But I still do prefer my leather jacket from Pando Moto
Thanks broski!! Yes got to be super aware, a few months in now getting more confident but need to remain humble as you can get carried away on one of these ha ha
Ha ha love this comment. It was nerve racking. I remember him giving me the keys and it dawned on me I had to ride it home on a motorway. But I arrived in one piece. It was a lot of fun. Not felt that much joy in a while.
Just ride at your own speed and don’t be fooled by all bravado that comes out of some people’s mouth. Time and practice pay massive dividends Enjoy it and welcome to the world of bike/bikers
You did great. What bike were you coming from? What power mode where you on for this first ride (rain, low power?) I felt the same way when i started on my grom. I plan on upgrading to z900 eventually.
Thanks bro. 😎 This is my first bike. Passed 7 years ago so been saving up and pulled the trigger on this. I was in road mode. …yeah get one. They are well worth it. They feel so gooooood!!!!
@@spikemarleymoto Wow I can understand the nervousness if this is your first bike. Yes I can't wait to upgrade once I build confidence with my Grom. The z900 looks amazing with power on tap if you need it.
mad respect id buy if could afford but cant even finance as i financed a 2023 symjet x and then legit the front fork/frame damaged in a 5mph slip/hit in rain and had to scrap it - now driving honda 2013 - eventually future might save and get kawasaki or after paid of this finance - finance for a kawasaki
I was I had fractured groin, left hand and lower back , took 3 months to heal , doctors said if was bit more force would of been housebound for a year so was lucky - I still worked with it using my right hand and trying not bend or doing sideways bend or using chair to bend and work colleagues was nice and helped for first month a good deal for stuff that was hard with just 1 hand like pushing standing aides.
About to bye 1 bro also got an mt09 at the min going soon with superbike factory next week getting a 2022 z900 ect it’s got 1 k my mt09 has 28 k they offerd me a good price for part x for the z900 ect . I had a z650 few years back good bikes 🔥
@@GeorgeLilly-d3t niceee. Yeah you can’t beat Kawasaki. For me they are the most reliable and best looking. Top qualities I love ha ha. I looked at the Mt 09 lovely bike but I didn’t like the colour schemes but liked the tech. Glad I got the z900 thought !!
Thanks bro. Congrats you will love it. Mine not the SE. I just added a few bits onto. Didn’t like the gold suspension on the SE wasn’t for me. Needed to keep it black and green
Thanks for explaining 'triple-A' I didn't know what that meant. 1 thing, are these your first..., because I thought these might be your second-impressions hah LOL... Nice loop!
Yes mate. It’s a good question. I was skeptical. But I like them as I can wear my normal pants over them that’s why I got them. And they add a really good layer of protective when I don’t want to wear my heavy jeans
