Born in Los Angeles, Phoenix-based David Brady is known for his powerful, provocative images of contemporary life and his continuous exploration of the figure through collage, assemblage, oil, and drawing. His recently published graphic memoir, “Into the Tunnel,” chronicles his experience being treated for, and as a survivor of Stage 3 throat cancer.
Brady’s paintings and collage works have been featured in numerous exhibitions and international projects, including the Museum of Fine Art Cuba, Modern Art Museum Mexico, The Turchin Center for the Arts, Lilia Arts Center Japan, the Center for the Study of Collage in France. Recent exhibitions include The Eric Fischl Gallery in Arizona and The Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts in Texas and a solo exhibition, at The Frederick Holmes Gallery in Seattle.

Phenomenal! Absolutely stunned. I love how the “mark making” evokes this overstimulated feeling, busy and intense. Its almost like a parisite in this work, absolutely amazing.
