But not in Iceland. Because the warmth is gratis from volcanoes who are warm anyway naturally. So it's only possible in places like Iceland where there is strong volcanic activity. They just put the volcanic warmth to the surface on the streets where they need them. The volcano radiates heat anyway
Russian Machinery Firms are now buying electrical, electronic and mechanical components from other Firms with the right to produce a target number each year. Take the example of Kamaz Trucks using Mercedes Engines , YAMZ Engines bought ( i read on the net ) components and designs from Renault of France . I suspect that in the age of sanctions that Russia will be looking to China and India for anything its Firms need that Russia lacks as they are members of the BRICS and this is where Russia will have its best economic future. As far as State Owned or part State owned Firms are concerned, there is nothing wrong with a State owning 51% of important Firms like Electrical generation, Trains, Ship yards and Electrical Firms as big western Firms like to buy them, take the assets and then close them down like in the 1990’s when Yeltsin the Alcoholic allowed Russia to be raped . If you need to buy Tractors and excavators, buy Russian or Minsk or from India and China; why give your money to hostile States like EU ? If you want Cars, China and India produce many cars with German and Japanese components in them and, the Russian Construction Machine maker UMG have engines and components from US, Germany and Japan as this allows them to be sold overseas like the Belarus Tractors from Minsk that are all over Asia as they are very good value for money .
