THIS MIX WAS THROWN DOWN ON THE WEEKEND I GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL AND I WAS LISTENING TO IT IN MY VAN BY THAT FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY!! GREAT MEMORIES!!

I remember many of the military guys I met while in Germany would get recordings from KISSFM NYC an I was like that is cool music. I decided to ask to dub record these tapes. Made me a huge fan of Red Alert, Chuck Chillout and Marley Marl but it lead me to collect anything I could get from other US cities an even what was happening in the London Radio scene.
Wow The Latin rascals , as a bboy breaker I would wait for them to come on the radio wbls 92 wktu and practice my move for that weekend at the funhouse , roseland ,Roxys the boogie down Bronx the rooftop , wester hall or the palladium , which ever club was poppin that weekend I was pulling up with THE EVIL PARTNERS CREW ,and it was on !! Miss them good old days , homies knew what it was when the” DEVIOUS ONE “ took over that floor
