I honestly think, the 5000 is still a much better machine. The 5000 you have a lot more control over with settings where the 6000 you haven’t, the coil range for the 5000 is a lot better, 8” up 25” plus, so more depth if you want it to small shallow gold with 8” 7x5” ect. You have more control over the Sensitivity on the 5000.. yes the 6000 is sensitive to small gold but geez how fine do you want to be getting? I think I made the mistake selling my 5000 as I would have used it more than the 7000, 6000. The best thing about the 6000 is the weight, quick easy startup and how quick the tune is along with the wireless system.
@@stoppsyboss260 Well mate thanks for your honest answer. I have been tempted to sell my 5 but picking up the 7000 changed my mind. Thanks again boss if anyone did the hard yards you did. Cheers Greg
@@wdgreg589 the 7000 is good but geez it’s heavy. I found a lot of gold with the Zed but walking up hills and that, it killed my shoulders & back. If you could have the 3 machines, that’ll be ideal. Use the 5000 for a start, find a patch, clean what you can up with that, jump to the Zed, go back over it then jump on the 6000 to pickup the smaller gold. I had the 5000 & the Zed and found patches with the 5000, then used the Zed to go back over it. I did find few bits deeper with the Zed but I mostly used the 12” NF Evo on the 5000. I think if had a 15” on I would have picked them up
@@stoppsyboss260 I’m in the USA had Mick mod my 5000 with the 12x8 Evo crazy does 6000 size gold and with the. 17 x13 Evo gives the Zed a tough time.Cheers
Mick is a friend of mine. I do know his work, works well. He actually helps Nuggetfinder with the new coils for the 6000 & 7000. If NF are having trouble to work something out. Mick will go and help sort it out.
Thank you for this video. I picked up a lot of handy tips from it. Seeing that a lot of places have been flogged to death, do you recommend searching virgin ground rather than the diggings themselves?
I’m glad you picked up some tips from the video. I don’t call them flagged grounds. Iv found gold where people say there’s nothing left. Different machines, operator, coils ect. Not everyone can clean an area out. Bit of different weather changes everything again. It’s okay to start off on the old workings to see if you can pickup a bit of gold. It’s good to see what depths they were digging at, what gravels, rocks they were going through. Did they hit pipeclay or just dig reef ect. If you find a bit of gold, it can tell you a lot. Is it rough, smooth, host rock attached. Spend a hour or so on them and then I like to move off into the virgin grounds and look for any bits of reef breaking the surface, test holes ect. I’ll spend most of my time on the virgin grounds.. good chance of finding bigger better gold, finding a paying patch ect..
Both have there places.. in really hot noisy grounds, powerlines trashy areas DD.. you can run in cancel mode near powerlines, can run discrimination in trashy areas.. Monos are better for depth, sensitivity. Iv found more gold with mono coils tho..
@@karimrazak3798 you can’t put a depth on them as it’ll come too size gold, the way the gold sitting in the ground, ground conditions. They can punch very deep..
hahahhaha Bend your knees........ now thats funny ....a Broken screwdriver and a rock for a hammer ...beauty of a Speci Good job ...would keep it that way ....more Character
@@stoppsyboss260 there is a reef that runs into the old rifle range that has excellent visible gold in it. A mate saw it and said there were places where the gold was like beans. The operators were also up to no good and got busted. They also tried to blow the reef. Unfortunately they had no idea and covered Eddington road with reef. They were closed down and the mine filled. The reef runs into one of our blocks, so maybe the gold continued as well. There are other reefs I found on the gold sheer as well
Nice to see you got it out. Interesting timing to see this I have recently detected a good signal while walking along a flat granite outcrop with me GPX5000 17X13 COIL.when out came a fairly strong signal. At this time I really thought I was on just granite but as I chipped away it showed up as a vein of quartz about 300mm wide. I am afraid I was just damaging my pick and as I had no other tools I had to leave it there. I checked with a pin pointer but that wouldn't pick it up. In Western Australia we are not allowed to use any mechanical tools so I may have to get back there with chisels and crowbar. 500kms away. I really enjoy your videos.Keep them coming.
Oh wow sounds like it could be a nice bit of gold. I hope you get to dig it out. Took me 2 days to dig a 5g out of a reef with hammer & chisel along with crowbar.. I’m glad you enjoy my videos. I’m really hoping that now I can get out more. Best of luck and let me know how you go 👍
I think iv done all the GPX’s I’m not sure. The 5000 is a good machine and setting confuse a lot of people. When I done training I would explain and show the customers the difference between them all. So now I don’t do training I thought I would help others by doing videos. I’m glad that this has helped you.. best of luck
I have been to this spot a few times with the Zed and have picked up deep bits over a gram/gram half.. the 4500 & 5000 wouldn’t have picked them up at the depths I got them
I would love to have that machine, I go prospecting when I can and have a whites GMT, it's a great detector, but I got to say that machine is the best in my opinion !! Also what I have is what I could afford or I definitely would of gotten that detector !!
The whites were a good machine. You can only buy what you can as you don’t want to put yourself out of money. I brought my 5000 with the gold I had found so I was lucky.. As long as you’re out there looking, who cares what you’re swinging 😊👍
