I love all three movies they are beautiful couple you should watch 3rd one I’m glad they end up together sorry girl I just spoiled that for you I just want to say that I love you thank you for this beautiful video
i haven't read the books in quite a while but i do remember thinking the first movie at least was a great adaptation. they of course change some things but i think it captures the cozy essence of the book and feels very heartwarming and fun to watch. it's one of my favorite movies to rewatch when i'm feeling down
20:39 WHAT?! The light is coming from the left, for everyone, except the goat. The goat's shadow (Yay! Shadows, at last!) is to it LEFT, while all the otehr characters cast shadows to their RIGHTS. Including the character DIRECTLY BENEATH THE GOAT. So, it's not as if there are multiple light sources and they are passing them by, and that paraticular patch casts shadows to the left. The GOAT AND ONLY THE GOAT casts a shadow behind him. All the humans cast shadows in front, to varying degrees. What the heck?! Just WHERE is the light source or sources?! This shot is SO confusing!
i genuinely love all of the movies from the series, it’s so good. i haven’t watched XO KITTY and i probably won’t because in my mind, kitty is still a baby LOL
7:50 I looked SO HARD for shadows. I finally came to the conclusion that the light is coming in HORIZONTALLY. Unless there is a strong artificial light (candles and lanterns would WAVER with the flames), such as electric light, then that would be a sunset or sunrise, which means COLOR. That light would be COLORED. Bright yellow, or reddish tones over everything it touches. That doesn't look like a sunrise or a sunset. So why the heck is the sun shining HORIZONTALLY?! The shadows should give you a sense of time of day. They should be SLANTED. And you shouldn't have to look so darned hard for them. Honestly, they did shandows better in Sims 2 or Sims 3. In other words, they did computer-generated LIGHTING better, twenty years ago in a GAME.
I think you missed one idea. And it is simple among many others. Her relationship with Ajax is it an issue? Now that she is a full wolf. Can she be with a stoner long term. Is there prejudice for wolves to stay with their own kind and vice versa. I would think Ends mom would have an issue with this. Her mom in general is a great place for Enid in terms of character development and story telling.
3:19 as someone who did read the books in high school, I think it’s a good, it’s not exactly to the book but they did a good job sticking to the storyline and bringing the books to life
i think its due to lack of a good brand, no push & the fact that ppl see her as unrelatable ive seen sabrina comparisons & other than sab having a memorable brand, ig the other reason is that she has a soft aesthetic & beauty, & is petite. which is also mainly why ppl still see her as cutesy even w/ explicit lyrics. slightly chaotic campiness is much more her brand than sensuality, imo. shes also v pretty but in a way that wouldnt seem too threatening to some ppl (not as an insult). even tho madison has been vulnerable in interviews & her music, she isnt rlly seen through that lens. its not that its impossible tho, as lana's image leans more into that, but her stripped-down aesthetic made her more approachable to some. there's also the "britney" persona, balancing quirky innocence & humility w/ a natural sensuality. granted ppl were still threatened by her & couldnt understand that u can be two things at once, but its what made her a bit more accessible. she doesnt have to change who she is but its usually just the truth of the industry. she could try to lean into the siren gimmick too though
loved this video!! this movie is my absolute favorite. while i knew i liked the movie because of its cozy atmosphere, beautiful visuals, cute storyline, and the chemistry between the leads, i never knew how much thought when into this movie! all the color symbols and strategic outfit choices make me appreciate the movie even more 😍
I read the books like 7 years ago and I remember for the most part thinking that the first film was a good adaptation! I did watch the movie before reading the books however. I would highly recommend the books for anyone who has a passing interest. The books fleshed out more complex relationships as well as Lara Jean’s thoughts on high school relationships that I personally related to. These books and movies have such a special place in my heart that I was inspired to start baking back in the day and it’s still something I enjoy doing now!
The movie was a great adaptation of the book. There’s WAYYYY more in the book, and it was one of my favorites as a young adult. So, I do suggest you read it.
