Sang with some mates in the 80's but only one gig in front of a few friends. When my wife died just before lockdown I picked up my old marlin sidewinder and started bashing it. I knew a few riffs, Shadowplay Hangover and 12XU but none of it fully. So this is my punk song book. Far from perfect but having a laugh. Revisiting what I did 3 years ago and hopefully improving. Writing my own songs and getting the odd like is amazing. Released one single no mixing sound straight off the camcorder lol. #northmundha5mnoiszattack records. I will do a couple more limited edition singles, and maybe put some of my stuff on spotify and earn £3 a year!! Hope to get a few more mates to do guest vocals or join in on bass. Never going to hit 1000 subscribers but it's not the point, get up and do it. Keeping it punk. Jive/Ceroc started in 2002 and met my late wife, getting back into it in 2023 onwards.
are you going to UK subs gig 12/12 24 ? I would like it but I'll be at the gig on Sep 23 but I'm keen to go there in Dec to check them out, too bad it's so expensive with flights and accommodation... good version plays for others
I'm just having a go, at playing songs mostly from my youth. All started in lockdown and becoming a widower. I look back at how I sounded in 2020 and I see progress. Probably record to soon and should practice more. Most chuffed with my originals when they get likes.
