Honestly, id give just about anything to own an example like this. Modern ones are alright, but just dont have the heart and soul in them as these do. These are preserved works of art in my opinion. Its why i got into ship design and naval engineering. I havent "worked" a day on a decade and a half. Love it.
Wait a damn minute.....this boat was built by VSY? Like same as Seaspan? The Washingtons company? Is she still docked in Vancouver? Id LOVE to see this vessel in person!!! PLEASE
My family had a similar model build in the early 60's at Tacoma Shipbuilding. Loved this updated version and I have so many great memories. Ours was Alaska Cedar. Wish I knew if she was setill afloat.
