That bolt look brand new, I used my M18 stubby then M18 High torque then an Air high torque and still couldn’t take off, had to do the old breaker bar and crank the starter trick, it was on a 04 Toyota Tacoma v6 But yeah I did take out some crank bolt with my M18 3/8 stubby, that’s why it was the first one I used
I am literally a noob with power tools, tools in general, but thanks for making these videos. Everybody I know just says by DeWalt, DeWalt, DeWalt!!? But these videos are clearly showing that, yes DeWalt has great tools, but so does Milwaukee. Both.. I will be having a little bit of this from Milwaukee, in a little bit of that from DeWalt. 🫡
Exactly! I feel it’s all about whatever gets the job done the best for you! Sure we have an air impact and a 1/2in Kobalt, which could’ve worked on this, but it’s fun to test the limits and see what can be done with other tools!
That Crank Bolt was not Properly Tightened, I’ve got that impact and it’s nowhere strong enough to do that. Btw… I use the 6 amp hour battery. This is a FAKE VIDEO Thumbs Down
Interesting, considering that bolt has never been taken off before this. I have another video of the same thing, on a different engine, you should check it out! This Milwaukee impact is great! Edit: this goes to say, obviously it may not work for every application, but doesn’t mean it’s fake if it does work! Like, I HIGHLY doubt it’d be able to take off a Honda crank bolt, and I barely got it to remove some hefty bolts on my crankshaft mounts. Had to use a breaker bar. Broo that’s clean I’ve been wanting to do this to mine but don’t know how much ..what’s the size of spacers did you use ?? How much was it for parts and labor ? It came out clean af man!! Like wow !!!🎉
tysm!!! the wheels are 19x10.5 +22 square, front spacers are either 32mm or 35mm I forget, and rear spacers are 38mm. every mod has been done myself so the big $$$ is in parts!
How was the install? I'm alright with cars but somewhat limited on tools-- I've got all the basics, though. Also curious what kit this is because I don't see the screws on the front flares.
@@kribble it was pretty straightforward, but does require cutting and welding for the rear. And it’s the monsterservice v1 kit! The rear is bolt on, but the front is a complete replacement fender. quick tip for around the stick, add about 3/4"- 1" to the tops and straight [parallel] when installing turn the boot inside out or pointing downwards [like a funnel] and zip tie this extended piece. Then the boot folds over the Zip Tie around the stick in normal installed position
Good idea! One thing I do want to mention is that allowing for extra seam allowance would make the boot the original size of the old boot. Plus hemming the top edge would give it a tailored look. Thanks for the reel!
I just made sure to leave a small amount so that it tucked a little bit into the rubber window gasket, it doesn’t really need too much tucking to cover all the chrome
I need this on my gen4 turbo so BAD 😭 I tried once but did terrible. Might go back to trying after this vid, you make it seem so much simpler. Any tips on the rear badges? I want to black out the logo, turbo and AWD badges
