i havent watched too much hockey in my lifetime but man that sure is iconic moment for Laine and in hockey in general, just because how its casted, winning in OT just when Matthews just coudlnt score. like from a movie script, i love it!
I was under the impression hockey was a contact sport. Are these great dekes or shit defence?? I wouldn’t let most of those past me even at 40. I’d be embarrassed!
So as a 40 year old non-professional hockey player, you really mean to say that YOU would be a better on-ice defensive option against these guys? I find it incredibly hard to believe that you could last a full 45 second shift on the ice let alone defend a guy like Nathan Mackinnon in a 1v1 situation. Sit down and shut up old timer, your days of beer league hockey have gone to your head.

And with the exception of the first 2 or 3, they all got caught flat-foot, head down, watching the puck, looking like idiots.
