Just like the people in the pipe tobacco industry you do the game of anti cigarettes propaganda. Not knowing that it will also destroy you Cigars are not that healthy as you think. A lot of people died of mouth, tongue, lip and laringe cancer from pipes and cigars. Also the cigars can give you pancreatic cancer and heart diseases. You swallow the saliva with poison. You get also the poison through the capillary veins in your mouth and nose. Elitists
Couldn’t have been that bad if you stuck it out for damn near 20 years. And an entire factory to yourself?! I’m sure you had wifi, heat and most importantly quite. Don’t bitch to me (furio voice)
Great chat and review as ever. Emphasis on the journey I think is spot on. Would add that to me at least, a cigar doesn’t need to be perfect so long as it’s enjoyable and keeps you interested.
Exactly! A cigar is like life-doesn't need to be perfect, just needs to not catch fire in the wrong way and keep your attention longer than my Wi-Fi signal on Netflix night.
Thank you gentlemen. A good close up of the cigar at presentation would be nice, so the audience could appreciate the artisanship of the construction, the wrapper and the rings.
Ah, yes, a close-up of the cigar would let us truly appreciate its elegance-because nothing says 'artisanal craftsmanship' like watching us zoom in on the wrapper and getting emotionally attached to the cigar before we light it on fire
Vaping is a proven tool to assist people to stop smoking cigarettes. I personally have had amazing results, ten years cigarette free, I do still love a cigar. If you are not a smoker you have no need to vape, so it should be prescription only. To ban it, would be denying the smoking public of a valuable tool, as many vapers like myself can testify to.
Great upload I thoroughly enjoyed it. Which Bolivia cigar was it you were reviewing please? as I missed the last bit and it's on in the description. Thank you once again for the great upload
Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the upload. The cigar I was reviewing is the Libertador. If you have any more questions or want to chat about cigars, feel free to ask!
@@sauttercigars It's definitely not on the online store. I will have to give them a call and hope the price is right and hope they ship to the US! Thank you!
The story in the beginning from the gala dinner regarding the man from the Middle East and his 6 Cabildos made me chuckle. It’s funny how abit of social media recognition and a trophy from habanos can make you think you’re better than others. I’ve seen lots of cigar content on RU-vid especially from retailers in London and I’m taking a trip next Spring to come a visit a few of them and I’ll be sure to stop by the shop on Mount Street and support the cause. Great videos as always gentleman😊
Social media’s just a mirror, my friend-showing us who we think we are. Enjoy your trip to London; just remember, the best cigars are like good whiskey: they get better the longer you let them breathe. Cheers to you, and may your visit be filled with smoke and laughter!
I watched the seminar guys, looked like a very informative event. I also thought the translating was a bit awkward but also I guess it’s a good thing in the end. I tried to look out for you guys but I didn’t see either Laurence or Nick!
This was a great episode! I feel like you need to know about the Anton Berg plum+marzipan+madeira+chocolate treat. They are perfect with cigars and with the slight boozy taste they can stand alone if you have a moment to smoke but not drink anything strong.
My dear viewer, I appreciate your discerning taste and the splendid recommendation of the Anton Berg treat. Indeed, such a delightful confection, imbued with the subtlety of fine marzipan, the richness of Madeira, and the decadence of chocolate, is a companion most worthy of a moment’s reflection, whether accompanied by a cigar or enjoyed on its own. Your suggestion has not only intrigued my palate but also stirred my sense of culinary adventure. It is in such moments of quiet indulgence that we find a small but significant respite, and for that, I thank you. Cheers!
LD talks about the environment for eating , drinking. And smoking like a romance novel the ladies would read. Classy and trashy all in one read. He defines smoking as the last true art form. God bless the world’s greatest cigar lover .
Ah, my dear Rob, your words ring with a certain poetic charm that would warm the very heart of any cigar aficionado. Indeed, life’s simple pleasures-eating, drinking, and smoking-are not merely habits, but a delicate art, refined over the ages. Like a well-crafted novel, they weave together the elegance of tradition with the daring spirit of indulgence. To elevate the act of smoking to an art form, as you so astutely observe, is to recognize its place in the grand tapestry of life, where every puff is a brushstroke on the canvas of existence. God bless, indeed, the world's greatest cigar lovers, for they are the custodians of this most noble of pastimes. Carry on, my friend, with the same zest and appreciation for the finer things, for in them lies the true romance of life.
