I would like to understand the process if I plan to fly from Qatar after receiving the visa stamp in my passport. Specifically, I have the following questions: Is it necessary to cancel my Qatar ID (QID) or resign from my current employer before leaving for Europe? Can I fly directly from Qatar without facing issues with immigration, or is it better to exit Qatar and travel from my home country? Based on what I know from my contacts, it is always better to cancel your visa from here before leaving the country to the next country you’re going to. You can go directly from Qatar to other European countries as long as you have a visa for that country. You may also opt to get a police clearance before going out of Qatar as part of ur docs. Is it mandatory to have a flight ticket or can we arrange a dummy ticket for the dates? And if we travel only after several months, then how many months before we can apply? For example if we submit September second week then March second week can we travel?! It's like 6 months time! Is there any criteria like that? In this case what will be visa issuance date? But during the submission of your documents, the visa officer may ask you some questions to clarify our travel arrangements. As mentioned on the vlog, a confirmed ticket is not needed; flight booking only or dummy tickets will do. You can apply for a visa up to 3 months before your intended flight, but no later than 2 weeks. For example, if you're flying on March 15, you may apply on December 16 until Feb 28. Only the visa officer can decide the duration of your visa. You can be granted a multiple-entry visa if your planned trip requires it. All the best!

Based on exp, if it’s your first time to visit Japan, usually they grant 7-10 days only, depending on your planned itinerary. They will grant longer if you plan to stay there longer, like 1-3 months. They will give 1 year multiple entries if you plan to travel again to Japan within 6months after your travel there. For white collar workers, they normally receive a package salary, which includes the basic pay, transpo & accommodation allowances. Although there are also other firms that provide a package pay plus accommodation, ticket allowances & free tuition for kids. For blue collar workers, employers usually provide the basic pay plus food allowance only, and have their own accommodation and transportation arranged for their workers.
