My experience: Originally from London, England, now living by the sea in Cyprus where I run everyday as a professional fitness trainer. My personal training website is V1FITNESS.COM. I'm a Vegan ultra runner, completed ten full Marathons in EU & USA, also many ultra distance endurance runs, 50km to 100km in the extreme Cyprus heat. I'm also the Creator of the world's toughest 135 mile (217 km) mountain trail running race, Cyprus Ultra Marathon.
Passion: To share my running experience with cool running gear product reviews to help you run long and prosper.

I got the white one with the positive display. Step counter is about 1.8x what my phone step counter says. Wasn't sure which one was off. Good to know that this watch is pretty accurate counting steps. I have a couple of other step tracker gshocks and they are pretty much similar to this one.
I’ve never had a Salomon pair and I’m looking for a new athletic shoe for all activities but I need it to be waterproof and good for running and hiking. I’m considering this specific shoe for running on the road or in rocky and muddy trails as a novice runner, will they last? My other two options are the Salomon Supercross 4 Goretex trail running and the Rigel Low Wmn Trekking Shoe Wp 3Q54456
1:44 that's a very cool feature. It would be very cool if the CDT had it as well. Plus the fact that it displays the current time in the other modes is making me consider getting it. And the mud Resistance, vibrating alarm and big and easy access light button.
Triggerpoint makes outlandish claims when it comes to their fioam rollers. The ad for the grid roller claimed that the ridges act as a massage therapist’s thumb, fingers, and palm. The million dollar question is how would an inanimate object know what part of your body it is on and if that part needs a palm, finger, or thumb to massage it. I didn't find any difference in benefit provided by the different ridges.
Triggerpoint rollers are over priced and are not the best when it comes to quality. The EVA foam cracked and split in various locations in less than 1 year.
While it is true that it is an almost indestructible watch, it is not so in terms of battery In less than 4 years (purchased in December 2020) the battery collapsed and now, in battery saver (estimated duration 56 days) it loses one day per hour, effectively lasting two days or a little more. I asked for support from assistance considering that I bought an identical watch in the same period that has no problem (but it is stuck on release 14.x while mine is on 19.x), they replied that they cannot provide me with the downgrade, which must be sent, if I do not accept any quote they will make me have to spend € 25 to get back a non-working watch, paid € 300, lasted less than 4 years. Used only for tracking steps, sleep, alarm clock and a few training sessions in the gym, never used connected to the phone for messages and calls, never for GPS, altimeter or compass.
I do normally use an apple watch, to keep track of my activities, the ones that I commonly use more often are, running, indoor running, gym workout or weightlifting, soccer and stationary cycling, do you know if the watch supports this activities? Thank you!
Hi! thank you for this comparison. My old Garmin Forerunner 35 finally broke (after over 6 years of using it). im now looking for a replacement - I run, walk and work out at the gym, I dont need any bell and whistles, just accurate tracking; also my wrist is rather small - which Forerunner would you recommend at this point - 45S or 55? Thanks!
Hi, i´ve a question, is possible use this watch to run and check the kms on the phone, but without run with the phone? or is necessary go with both connected bluetooth?
There are MUCH better watches for running or generally for sports activities. The G-7900 is made for when the SHTF or when all other watches simply would quit. If you need a watch that can go to hell and come back smiling, it's the G-7900 !
Great review, thank you so much...can I ask please...are the steps accurate? I had to return a fitbit cos the steps were ridiculous...i clocked 6000 steps from crocheting in my chair...so yeah....is this watch reliable for step count? Thank you
