Aladdin is a lifestyle and real estate investment genius. He is a former war correspondent for TRT World, Russia Today and he also worked with the CNN. Today, Aladdin is the host of the legendary talk show - the "Straight Talk" airing weekly on Property Turkey's RU-vid channel.

Aladdin is also famous for touring homes. But not just average homes, he tours homes that are beautiful, elegant, extraordinary, and simply, out of this world.

If you’re interested in visiting the most special, luxurious homes that money can buy in Turkey, then you’ve come to the right place.

There’s a reason why he called this channel Aladdin’s Turkey and that’s because he will also be uncovering and discovering Turkey for you.

Aladdin’s Turkey is a one-stop shop for everything Turkey, including: places to see, things to do or simply put "Turkey in a Nutshell".

İzmir f**king sucks, the weather is sticky and it feels like your nose is blocked in summers. The only things there are ugly skyscrapers and slums. Bursa is ok kinda Antalya isn't bad but you need a sunscreen everytime at summers Kaş and Kalkan are pretty good resort towns Fethiye is burning hot and filled with tourists, i would rather live in Muğla (city center) Bodrum is literally the same as Fethiye And İstanbul being number 1 means you aren't even a real Turk, forget about the touristic places but the inhabited areas are basically just slums and the city is very poor.

I can't understand the Turkey issue at all. Yes, you say Turkey, but we Turks have never said Turkey. The official name of the country has been Türkiye since its founding. And it comes from Italy. After the Seljuks came and settled in Anatolia, the Italians started to call this place Turchia, which is what they call it now. So the name was never Turkey, it was always Türkiye, you just kept saying it that way because you couldn't pronounce it. and yes its Türk not Turk. And one last thing, there is a Turkish and Turkic distinction in English or a Turk and Turkic distinction, but we do not have one. We also call other Turkic speaking countries Turks because during the Goktürk period, we were all called Turks. And we evaluate the language distinction as Azerbaijani Turkish, Turkmenistan Turkish, Kazakhstan Turkish, etc.

Very nice to get a broad perspective on religion in Türkiye: history, statistics, tolerance, "what to expect." I feel better informed now. I'm from the USA. The English was very good. One small point: We say "quote" with more of a "w" sound, like "kwote." Çok teşekkürler!

Christians and Jews were only allowed to live there because leaders cannot tax Muslims, they NEED non Muslims to tax them but are always trying to find a balance between removing as many non Muslims as possible and making enough tax profit. Your comments are ridiculous “Turks are so so tolerant of other religions..” umm okay.

there are taxes on muslims ( 2,5% on the whole possession on even children if they have enough). There is only a certain extra on non muslim males (1,5%) called jizya

First off, I really appreciate you acknowledging the influence Armenians have had on Turkish culture. Many Turkish people often portray Turkish culture as uniquely original, almost as if ignoring the contributions of Armenians, Greeks, and others in the region. Armenian culture, on the other hand, stands out for its distinctiveness. We've developed our unique own language, alphabet, architecture, music styles, and art, while also being open to having influences from other cultures like Russian and middle eastern. Turkish culture, in contrast, has evolved to be unique in its our right but through a blend of various influences from the indigenous peoples of the region and Central Asia. While it's a rich tapestry, it lacks the inherent uniqueness that defines Armenian culture, Greek culture, etc. It's important to recognize that it's not just a troll, but the historical region of Eastern Turkey was actually very much Western Armenia before political arguments between Russia and the Ottomans forcibly altered its demographics. It's almost incredibly important to remember that the Ottoman Empire, despite periods of relative tolerance, ultimately ended with severe persecution and an actual Genocide against Armenians, Greeks, and Assyrians. This includes forced assimilation, name changes, language/culture suppression, and destruction of ancient artifacts/ruins, essentially history which are all the greatest sin to man kind. Therefore, it's important not to overlook Turkey's history of persecution and the reality that exists beyond the image of a "beautiful melting pot." Today, denial of the Armenian Genocide persists, alongside prevalent xenophobic and nationalist sentiments in Turkey. This is despite Armenians having historically contributed positively to Turkish culture and society. It's distressing to note that property and land seized from Armenian genocide victims continue to benefit Turkey's economy today as well.
