I LOVE this pattern!♥️♥️♥️ I've gotten half way finished (the heart, stem, and leaves) with two bookmarks and this is the absolute best tutorial so farbfor the pressed flower bookmark and what I've done so far looks really great!👍 I'll do the flower part next. I will admit it was a little tricky (for me) to create that magic ring/circle at the top of the stem BUT after watching you repeatedly, even that turned out perfect! Also, doubling the thread for the stem is soooooo much easier than slip stitching the entire stem chain so I really appreciate learning how to do this your way.👍 Thank you so much. 🙏 I'll let you know how the flower turns out although I'm pretty sure it's going to be fabulous as well!👍😊
Thank you very much dear friend. 🙏💖 I have been crocheting for over 30 years and have been sharing my RU-vid videos for about 3 years. I was very happy with your message and this kind of message give me a lot of motivation. Also, if you like, subscribe to my other channel. 😍😍😍💖 ru-vid.com/show-UCEbh3d9aU7gVcmEC-ZWZ1cg
I'm so glad I saw your reply to @jo_moore indicating the rectangle is 16cm. The video of the tape measure is very blurry when you are showing the measurement. I'll watch again to see if I can find the measurement for the short side of the rectangle. Thanks for sharing this!👍♥️
That's very cute! ♥️ I think if I make one for myself to use, I'll let the pretty flowers show on the outside of the book when I mark my page. When something is THAT CUTE, it must be on display for EVERYONE to see! 😄
@@poplarcrochet Have been experimenting, this is one of the beauties of crocheting, videos like this basically serve as a guideline and the rest is down to the hook user and their creativity, if that makes sence. I have made the cat up including the tail, with a mix of HDC and lion cage stitch (at least I think that is what it is called, sc back loops only).
♥️♥️♥️ This tutorial is great EXCEPT at 04:14 into the video when the hugely printed word "Subscribe" blocks the detailed view of what you're doing. 😟 I'm not criticizing it any way because I'm sure a lot of hard work goes into producing a video tutorial but maybe in the next tutorial you can control where "Subscribe/Subscribed" appears in it so it doesn't obstuct and defeat the purpose of displaying your hard work? Again, not criticizing... it's just a gentle suggestion. I'm a visual learner and need to either clearly see what's happening or have very clearly written instructions so I don't miss steps. I do ♥️♥️♥️ this tutorial though and will give it a try anyway so "THANK YOU!😊" for sharing this lovely bookmark tutorial. 👍😀
Hi dear friend. I am very happy that you saw my video and gave your opinion. You are completely right. I will try not to make this mistake in the next videos. Thank you for telling me this. 🙏💖💖💖
The REPEAT for the heart is in REVERSE/mirror image ORDER. Below are the heart stitches in exact order after making the chain ring/circle: 🔹ch3, tc3, dc3, tr1, dc3, tr3, ch3, slipstitch.🔹 Explanation: When making the heart, you stitch downward the left half and center stitches first and then do a mirror image of stitches going back up the right half; therefore, your Repeat is in REVERSE ORDER. 🙂
@poplarcrochet apologies, my meaning was that I noticed you yarn under (with your hook) when doing your stitches and I wondered if it was the preferred way for this pattern or does yarn under work as well?
Wow, this is surprisingly easy but also very lovely.♥️♥️♥️ The bead embellishment is a really nice addition.😍 I knew it was made with sets of granny stitches but I wasn't sure about how to get started or the number of chain stitches between the sets. Thanks so much for sharing. I'll be able to make a bunch of these in no time! 👍😊
Thank you for the very cute pattern. I have a question…I know you’re usually use cotton yarn. IF you are you are, how do you get it to “curl” on the end?
