Hi Kevin finally thanks to you..a clear and concise explanation about scarbee guitar..However I ask you where I find the wha wha..that you are playing in the background? which company do you think..sells a plug inn of wha wha..controllable for mac..?.
What’s the difference between Midi, Midi 2.0, Midi XG, and Midi GS? What’s the easiest way to explain that Midi is not sounds but musical information? For example, some people still think MIDI means “generic midi sounds”, and no concept of its programmability.
I understand it like that - MIDI is not digital format but it is "recording" of digital musical instrument like synt, digital format is mp3 where you can have also analog musical instrument made into digital format by converting. For example the sound of Doom is midi, the sound of Quake is wav, what is the difference, is one digital and the other not? I mean not the original sound but how it is recorded and stored for playback? In Quake there is conversion what about in DooM?
If you don't know how to link the patterns track to the melody one, on the patterns track : select Midi 2 : melody track, and don't forget to switch on the track in case it was off. If you found that useful, please upvote so that others can see.
Wow someone who knows how to get down to the nitty gritty of showing you how to use something without all the unnecessary, time wasting yapping. So happy to have found this channel.
From another Kev: subscribed because well done and what was well done was the pedagogy for your lesson which you prepared in advance of making the video. This is a lesson, sir and a well-done one that wastes nobody’s time. Many thanks.
You’re either extremely gifted or have put a heck of a lot of work into this or most likely both. Don’t know why it’s taken me so long to find you! So refreshing not to have to put up with an ego and useless time-wasting. This is what we want - well done 👍
Loved your review! Just purchased this last night and it is blowing my mind! My old iMac died last week and I had to replace my Reason Rack Extentions, similar to this program, but Session is way better. I do have a question that I’m sure with your expertise you will know. Here’s what I”m looking for, in Rack Extentions I could select a single note or right next to it a huge Power Chord, I see that in this program, however, the loop or pattern repeats it’s self every measure. Is there a way to just hit it and it holds until you let off? I did see that putting it in playing mode I could do that, but then you are trying to get the correct inversion voicing to match your chord. Doable, but what I really liked about Extentions was just being able to pull this up really quickly instead of me trying to do it on my real guitar. (Not having an amp and tons of gear) I am loving your channel and will continue to watch and learn! Your video gave me the info to help me make an informed decision on buying it! Keep up the great work!
Thanks Kev. Great tutorial on the Rick. Your sound is so clear and authentic. Are you a bass player? All my mixes are so muddy. I'm blown away at your tutorials and the clarity of sound you get... hence the name Audio guy. Can you point me to the right tutorials/so I can go in the right direction to help my mixes? Thanks, Steve (AKA Mud mixes)
heaven sent! <3 you for this brother. i come from a piano background, but guitar bass is my most fav instrument & always drawn to it whenever i hear it in any genre of music. now im not so intimidated anymore & now super excited to add some somewhat more realistic guitar bass into my songs. actually even more excited to have an actual guitar bass in my midst & jam. but until then this will do. much blessings to you for the gems!
