If it's not one me it's in the safe. At night, it goes on a high shelf next to me out of reach for the Grandbaby, my wife does the same. My kids are older had have their own wepons. My daughter puts hers in a lockbox at night and my son has his own safe. Since the Grandbaby lives with us the house rule for my children is if it's not on them it's locked up. If I plain to have a long gun out for the night I have a wall rack above the bed, the grandbaby would have to walk over us to get to it at night. Even then he couldn't reach it. Safety is imperative especially with little ones, I have weapons to protect my family in case the need arises, but having little ones it's imperative to make sure your weapons are safe in the household. Good video, and a great reminder to always be aware of your surroundings even at home. Now I have to send a family chat to remind them to stay vigilant lol.
