Saw this watch in person the other day and it’s feather light and crazy thin. I never thought I’d ever consider a manual wind watch but 15% faster winding with 80hour power reserve …
Call me old fashioned, but I do like my luxury watches to have a bit of weight to them. These titanium Seikos are so light, they feel a little cheap. Great dial though.
I’m wearing my frogman 30th anniversary watch in red and I love it this MR-G frogman is awesome and I love it but as much as I love frogman I think this one is to expensive
I was set with picking up the SBGA375 in Japan but then I saw an ad on my OLED screen, was enamored by the colour so I can only imagine what it looks like in person and now I am super conflicted. They are different lines but that dial is something else. Great video.
I’m one of your grand seiko crew. I did not have a seizure. I actually bought the green with the gold B. It’s arguably my favorite auto in my collection. While it does not outperform my GS SBGM221, it fucking murders it going through airport security. My GS travelers GMT gets handled by every airport screening process. It becomes magnetized and gets thrown off at the tune of +17 to +36 seconds a day. Depending on how HAAM the machines go. If they are cranked to max, it’s blistering at more than 30 seconds a day. Meanwhile, I decided to stop wearing my travelers GMT for travel and magic, that beautiful SBGM 221 keeps time just fine, and the B survives the screening while keeping great time and resisting the magnetic fields created by standard screening machines. At the end of the day, this new super ocean is a great piece. I love mine. I want another. Preferably the bright Tiffany like blue color. Something a little more slow motion.
Great video, very accurate analysis. In my 4.5 years in the game as a watch collector and enthusiast, I collected a lot from AMZWATCH I was thinking I was able to get a blue SD but I'm not vip enough, but I'm not giving up. Hehe. Great video.
I’m sorry, but you have got to be trolling with this comment. It’s a cheap turbion, and you’re comparing it to technology which took 20+ years to develop. It’s chalk and cheese
Nice to see AMZWATCH show a watch that can be afforded by almost anyone rather than these pieces costing thousands and thousands which are out of reach for so many.
