This channel is a creative mess. This is where I put my experiments, ideas, and adventure films. If you are willing to deal with the random uploads, than you might be in for a treat.
You have to use special paper or encausticbord with these markers. The markers are lightfast too. They are a different medium therefore shouldn’t be compared to alcohol markers. Anyway, alcohol markers are not lightfast.
Just getting used to my smartphone, your quick touching blows my mind. My new app is Film Maker Pro and I thought your video would give instructions. It won't help me at all!
Is Live-streaming public domain music allowed to play on instrument on however you play it? Stuff like classical can you play instrument on livestream or uploading?
Can you sample public domain voice clips or songs to use in original music? What about voice clips from interviews? For instance, I'd like to sample an old interview of Eartha Kitt talking about love /comprimise I think the right samples can elevate certain songs but I'm wary to get sued or have the music blocked My plan is to only using the samples during transition tracks between songs. That way I don't risk my actual songs from getting blocked or flagged.
Makes me sad to see these always being compared to alcohol markers. They're a completely different medium. It's like comparing a paint brush to a dip pen or charcoal to graphite. These markers require a different surface, not a dry absorbant paper. Hope you try them again.
Hi there, I found movies in this public site that they are movies as "Public Domain" and loaded to my youtube movie channel and I received a Copyright Claim any comments or advise. I will appreciate very much. Thank you.
in my experiance pixlr has been betetr with real people and just touching some things up to make the photo/you look better.but with photopea its way easiar to add highlights and shadows manually where you want on any photo
@@birdz4brainz Yupo is the best and you blend away and reactivate. If you get the Winsor and Newton marker paper get the thicker one. But still, Yupo is better. See Lachri fine art videos for her pigment marker demos. You will like em.
Is it under fair use if i give attribution to the copyright holder by not taking permission from him and make some changes to the video like voice over... ?
@@birdz4brainz would u like the video i found to learn how to make it i made 2 with full sheets which is better gives u a5x7 approx book, made a couple tiny ones too just for fun lol
Copyright was not meant to 'protect' anything. It was originally conceived by the founding fathers to encourage more works in the useful arts and sciences. Today, it has been bastardized to the point it does the opposite.
Thanks ! Really like your videos, thinking of subscribing to a premium scetchbox for july. Do you know what's in the box or is it a surprise every time ?
Thanks. Good info about masking allowing you to undo later on in the process versus just erasing permanently. I hadn't thought about that. I'm new to this and still trying to understand. Every single masking video seems to do masking layers in different ways. Confusing. Hopefully, I'll understand it.
Here is one for you--- Many may be surprised to know the generic term "smiley" is trademarked. Merriam-Webster states the "First Known Use of smiley Adjective 1848" Franklin Loufrani in 1972 "legally" trademarked "smiley." Today if one uses the TAG "smiley" on an online marketplace, The Smiley Company LLC. may do a DMCA takedown for the product. Even if the product has NO ubiquitous yellow "smiley" face on it.
I hope you will continue to enjoy the subscription box! I started getting it in November. Actually, speaking of COVID, I like many many people started following some art RU-vid vids last March as a way to cope with quarantine, and I turned out to be not horrible! I now do art pretty much every single day. I thought long and hard about getting an art box, but I am enjoying it because it introduces me to new media, or gives me things that I've seen but would never buy - like expensive or unusual art supplies. The time may come when I lose interest in it. But lordy, that time is still a long way off....
Hi! Yes, way too many yellow/golds in this box. In the basic box, our handmade watercolor was ultramarine, which probably does go with the yellow and red better, but that marker? Why???? I laugh, though, that you ended up buying more of the supplies because you liked them, though. I now own most of the Marabu art crayons, which were several months back. That doesn't always happen, but I did fall in love with those crayons! This box, though - I couldn't figure out what to do with this color selection.
HI! I found your channel because I get the basic sketchbox and I like to see what other people do with the materials! I agree, the canvas was a weird choice, and I ended up not using it. I have used oil pastels on canvas paper, and even then it was heavily textured but workable. But these canvases? It's like sometimes the boxes DON'T seem like they all go together! I was thrilled to get some sennelier oil pastels, though!
So when I first opened this box I thought it was too much yellow and I was confused, but mixing them with each other ended up with *a lot* more options. The quinn gold is a cool yellow. If you mix that will a little bit of sodalite genuine watercolor stick, it makes an awesome green, great for plants and drying grasses. This works because the watercolor stick looks black, but when you dilute it the blue in it jumps out. Mixing the watercolor stick with the red ink made some nice wine and terra cotta tones. If you dip the yellow felt-tipped pen in the red ink and then write with it, you get a blend from yellow to orange to red. I think this is one of my favorite boxes so far!
Really enjoy your videos. Loved your Beta. I've been getting these boxes for a couple years and have just started watching unboxings to see what people do with their supplies. Keep doing them (yeah, I started with your April and disappointed that Covid didn't make you act sooner).
I was excited to see what you would do with this box. I wished I’d started my step daughters birthday subscription box a month earlier. Hoping May is better colors. Thank you for sharing
