Wow never knew there was an American adaptation of one of my favorite mangas of all time. Also I’m sure this was considered a low budget film straight to home which not gonna lie looks very impressive from what I see in this trailer.
I rented this movie over 100 times when I was a teenager. I used to rent it from a local video store. Man some of the moves on this feel look ridiculous. 😂. It still brings back good memories of watching it though.
One of those rare moments where you’ll find Bettina Bush (known for voiceover work in cartoons like Rainbow Brite) in a live action movie! Oh yeah and I also read that she’s of Cherokee descent on her mom’s side!
Is this streamabka anywhere? I don't care if I have to pay, but I'd rather not have to buy the DVD for something I want to watch once because I'm curious about it.
MAnga better then this yes but this is better then that 80's crap called Hyōryū Kyōshitsu but they are all better then that crap The Long Love Letter (2002)
It is low budget with a relatively fresh Will Ferrell but overall, the movie was entertaining and definitely worth a watch if you dig Indie comedies. It reminded me of another low budget comedy called Whipped which I also liked.
Great Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Lammywalness His Happiness Guide (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a great exclusive guide for understanding what men really want minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my GF at very last got excellent success with it.
