I'm jealous that you can still get WW iced coffee!! We haven't had it in SA for ages, like years!! Chocolate only! I guess we have a saturated market here, but it's sooooo expensive, so Aldi it is
I am now a household of one, and one cat. I try to keep it to around $30 p.w. including toiletries for me, and $10 for the cat, including cat litter, litter tray liners, wet food, and dry food. Her dry food is the Hills Science Diet (as per vet's advice), which costs round $72 for 4kg. That lasts around 3 months. It's getting harder. I mostly buy ingredients, rather than any ready made or prepared foods, although I do have some tinned items, like tuna. I make my own bread (65c per loaf). I don't have to cater for other people's tastes or wants, which must increase the grocery budget for families. My one vice is coffee, and I buy the pods from Aldi. I prefer to shop at Aldi, but do get some items they don't stock from Woolies - but only when they are on special. I like to see what other families buy, especially those with school age kids. I enjoyed your video, thank you, and have subscribed. 😃
Those buffalo wings are so good if you put them in the air fryer. Somehow they just taste so much better in there and it brings out the spicy kick a little more 👌🏼
I'm betting your next shop is huge! What sausage do you use for the muffins like a patty or just normal sausage? Just saw you said beef mince.. what goes in with the mince?
Have been shopping more at Woolworths lately but still can’t go past my Aldi staples! Interested to try those honey soy dumplings so will grab some next time I’m in.. Off to watch your meals of the week now and drool 🤤
Hello from Louisiana great haul our groceries have gone up here to it is crazy the prices we are paying for food i think it is going to get worse im afraid
I do always have a plan when i shop, I know roughly that i need to ensure we have what we need for all 3 weeks each day. I have a budget and i always seen to be in and round that with my weekly shop always more then enough to carry over some items for the next week, leaving me every few weeks the ability to not have to shop and just use what we have here
@@Aussie_Family_Life If reducing your grocery bill is your goal, then only buying items on sale, or reduced each time, is the way to go. Also, you'd need to shop at more than one grocery store a week, to take advantage of their sales.
Wow so expensive! When I was in Australia in January/February this year, I found that things were double the price of what I pay in the UK, and things had got more expensive here to after Covid. I shop in Aldi as well. Loved Australia by the way!
Aldi is awesome! I usually do the rounds, Coles and Woolworths for any specials I need plus marked down meats, then do Aldi for everything else like cheese, bread, soy milk, ravioli, soft drinks and ham which are always cheaper.
It's so good! I opened it once they all went to bed so i could have a try... will be getting double next time so i can sneek some away for a pizza night
I’m a new subscriber from Melbourne Australia, I love shopping at Aldi. They have great products and you can save quite a bit on your weekly shop. Sorry your family have been sick, my family just got over their colds.
