I always loved cooking, especially for my Father but when he passed it all stopped. Cooking for myself seemed pointless. Until I re-discovered Visions Cookware. I tried Visions in the 90s and hated it. But I fell in love with it this time around, the beauty of it! Cooking became fun again!
I'm no chef but I love to cook! I love all sorts of cookware old and new. I love all kinds of food! I love other stuff too! Hopefully in my sharing there might be something you enjoy.

That's pretty cool. I looked this up because I want to try to find a non-stick multi-clad pan like All-Clad or something expensive where the non-stick is all wasted and just remove it. Then I can just use it like a regular stainless steel pan.
The only place Ive been going out to eat has been Chilis. The $10.99 burger deal includes a bowl of soup or salad and your drink. They play upbeat music and have great servers at the one by my house. Beats any drive thru

Great video and completely concur with your verdict (Progresso tastes better but Campbell's is a healthier option). I personally buy Campbell's over Progresso tomato soups because of all the sodium and corn syrup Progresso has in it. At my age (54), I have to start watching my sodium and sugar intake and other things I put into my body. I found (and recommend everyone try it) if you add 4-6 drops of Tabasco Sauce to your Campbell's tomato soup and stir well just before you remove it from the heat, it adds the "special flavor" Campbell's tomato soup is missing and it will taste even better than Progresso. Again, great video and you are absolutely right, there I'm NOTHING BETTER than grilled cheese and tomato soup on a rainy day.
Hormel Mary’s kitchen is hands down the best out of these 4 imo. For anyone watching this video who has never tried CB hash before, do not cook it in the oven! I’ve never heard of anyone doing that before seeing this. Listen to the directions on the can and get it nice and crispy on the stove in a pan.
Ok. For the record, I fry my CB hash in a skillet. But I didn't have 4 identical skillets and I wanted them all done at the same time. Plus there are plenty of vintage print ads where CB hash is baked. But I agree, fried toasty in a pan is tops :)
@xetaprime two 2 liter bottles of Sprite and mountain Dew and a couple of Poweraides could probably make six bajas blasts at least . The blue poweraides is similar to Gatorade glacial frost . Which when chilled over night is quite a refreshing thirst quencher
I’m sorry Xeta but I only order the potato thingy and I do like thier taco pizza but that’s it. Used to make a steak Gordita that was good but it’s been gone for a long time. Get the potato burrito it’s spicey and good.
I haven't tried their potato burrito or the pizza. Maybe next Saturday when I open the vino ehh... But I really have to get back on the diet wagon! Darn it!!!!

I wish. I'm fat enough as it is. We have a rule in our house, no ice cream allowed. If we really want it we have to go out. To me, Wheaties taste like the box they come in. I'm sure the ice cream helps!
Probably the last time I buy Wheaties. But I hear you about ice cream! I really have to hit the diet again. Once the ice cream is gone that is. I'm fat. It's all in my gut and under my chin. Sigh :(
Those look super good, I only eat canned peaches and pears (and fruit cocktail), I think the cooking makes them easier for my old gut to digest (as opposed to fresh). Never saw anyone fancy-fy Kraft dinner like that, nice. Good call on the brandy, lol.
I remember playing with Super Stuff as a kid. It had a very distinct smell and feel to it. I would love to get ahold of some again, but not for 60 bucks. This really brings back the memories.

Hi Ikura! I have a set of Mardi Gras flatware with white handles. No one is sure if its bakelite or another type of plastic (nylon?). Do you know if I can use the method described in your video to clean Bakelite??? The white handles look dirty and I suspect could be a brighter white. Thanks so much!! Mary
If it's nylon I don't think Mothers Mag will work. Mothers works on hard plastics, not just bakelite. For example the avocado colored plastic on my blender, polished beautifully! My advice is to pick up some Mothers because it's a wonderful polish and give it a test. Or, test a small area on one piece with 800 grit sand paper. Soft plastic doesn't sand well at all. Maybe you don't need to sand? Wish I could help. I did look up Madi Gra flatware, they may be hard plastic most likely... Good luck!
@@xetaprime Thanks. Amazon is delivering me the Mothers Mag so I will try. Some of the dirt smudges I got off with Bar Keepers Friend. But will try the Mothers Mag too. If I cant get them looking good its okay - I just wont try to resell .
Recd and used the Mothers Mag - it definitely helped with the handles. It cut through all the built-up residue (guessing it was grime/dirt from hands and dishwasher). Beautiful shine. They look much better. I think I have a winner!
I forgot to add water when percolating for the 4th time. Duh, but the cords wires are burnt. I do have a Covid excuse for my stupidity. It worked perfected until my blunder. Best coffee ever. I opened up the bottom area where the heating element is and something was fried. Any resources or suggestions?
Whoever made this 🤦♂️ you have to use a separate device to boil the water? So if you go camping and just want to bring this for coffee nope you have to include another pot just to boil the water
This is the dumbest thing ever made. You have to use a separate pot to boil the water just to then dump it in the top pot and let it drip through to bottom 🤦♂️ can buy a Bialetti from Italy and make it 3x faster and only use one pot

yes you can cook in a unseasoned carbon pan what he said about butter is bs real butter is great to use in carbon that's all i use in mine its all about getting your pan to the right temp before you put your food in it
Not bs if you've just scoured the pan. The steel releases crud and the bottom of your eggs will be gray. Same goes for aluminum. This stops after a cook or two.
