I got this guitar on a trade. I was thinking of trading it. Not any more. Of course, I do not play any where near as good as you, so my guitar sounds different lmao. At least I know it is capable. Definitely like it more than any fender tele out there. Fantastic cover and cinematography. 💪🏼
Dude. Your video with the pt fastback was what sold me into getting one. I love that thing. I put a Seymour Duncan Seth lover in the bridge and it sounds massive. Keep showing schecter love with your dope tunes!!
Thanks so much for kind words, man! A lot of people told me that they got the PT because of my video, so I think that it's time for Schecter to give me an endorsement haha! I love my PT, and still have it. It's my main Drop C guitar now, and I ended up selling my LTD Eclipse and PRS Holcomb because I simply enjoyed the PT more! I'd love to get a Schecter Strat-style guitar and an 8-string now :)
You’ve got that guitar dialed in, the tones are amazing and just ring through. I’d like to know what effects you’re using for distortion. Keep up the good work
Hey man! Thanks so much for kind words! The tone is just Neural DSP Nolly, then I rolled back some low-end with EQ and used Master Bus compressor to glue my guitar with the original song.
Hey from the United States (Texas)! This is awesome. Even got the costumes on point, which is wild. Great covers, Chester would be proud of you all in Ukraine!
Original song is in Drop E. I played it in the "lazy Drop E" as I call it - my guitar was in Drop F#, and then I additionally dropped 7th and 6th strings to E and B.
Thanks! You can find a few other songs on this channel (Sold Me and Until the End), and I'm working on something cool with someone cool! I recommend to stay tuned :)
Thanks so much! Believe it or not, I actually bought this guitar because I saw it in the "Fake It" music video. Even though these days I play heavier music, I started playing guitar because of Nirvana and Seether, and I started writing music thanks to Shaun. As for the riff, I will definitely make a full song out of it.
@@StanSinitsky Of course! Ahh dude, your story mirrors mine. First Nirvana. Then I heard ‘Hang on’ on the Daredevil OST back in 2004 and jumped to Seether. I’ve been a die hard fan ever since. I have wanted this guitar for years but never got around to buying one. I remember Shaun saying that he had to tape the kill switch down to avoid hitting it while strumming. Do you have that issue as well? I write lyrics and riffs etc but I struggle completing a song. I have been super influenced by Seether and Smile Empty Soul’s style so that’s usually my blueprint for writing. I’d definitely check out Cane Hill’s Ep ‘Kill the Sun’. I heard it accidentally and am hooked on the whole Ep.
No, actually I don't have that problem with strumming - maybe it's due to my economic from-the-wrist picking style, while Shaun is way more expressive in that regard and he's hitting strings right from the elbow haha! I heard "Hang On" in Daredevil too, but back then I had no idea that it was Seether. I had no internet back then, and it was kinda hard to find any information on that here in Ukraine in 2004. I rediscovered them in 2007 I believe and found their track "Sold Me" off of The Punisher OST. I actually have a song with the same name and I did it to pay my respects to the band.
@@StanSinitsky Haha yeah, I’ve heard him say that he plays percussively. I think that’s awesome you named your song after ‘Sold Me’. I just heard it and was blown away.
I believe it was one of Gojira's presets - either JD Rhythm 1 or 2, I've been using them a lot back in those days. And I used built-in whammy to pitch shift from F# down to D# tuning. However, I believe Starset play this song in Drop F live anyways.
It's a personal preference thing really. They are identical in terms of neck and playability. I prefer looks of the PT Fastback with a pickguard. Being able to separately coil split pickups and control each pickup's volume and tone with 4 knobs is great too. The PT has hotter pickups but I don't like its looks.
