i think richie is a better singer than jon is by a mile. notice jon doesn't sing any harmony when richie has the lead. richie is most likely somewhat of a schooled vocalist or has amazing natural talent.

First of all, if you know anything about singing, you know, you need John's base voice to deliver that song.
