Established in 1986 by Elvera Voth, Alaska Chamber Singers (ACS) is one of the state's finest music ensembles. Led by Conductor/Artistic Director David Hagen since 1995, Alaska Chamber Singers' mission is to enrich Alaska through choral excellence. Singers are selected annually by audition and are dedicated to the study, rehearsal, and performance of high quality choral literature.
Alaska Chamber Singers has sung under notable guest conductors including Kenneth Jennings, Moses Hogan, David Dickau, and Anton Armstrong. ACS has participated in workshops led by Chanticleer and New York Polyphony. ACS regularly collaborates with Anchorage Concert Chorus, Anchorage Symphony Orchestra, and Alaska Children's Choir.
I am Canadian but I really really really like this anthem (my province borders Alaska!) and since it’s Victoria Day I’m sort of legally required to dislike anything American. Very good anthem though!

I've been trying to find a video of Neva Egan singing this, on Statehood Day. It used to be here on RU-vid, but it seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know of any place to find such a video? I grew up in Valdez, and used to LOVE hearing her sing this. This video is wonderful. I can't hear the song without crying...I miss Alaska so very much. Thank you for this video.
