If it wasn't for Connor McGregor, He wouldn't have made as much money as he did. Putin wouldn't have rewarded him with 20 million dollars worth of land. Who cares ?
My favorite thing about UFC 205, besides everything, was Conor walking around backstage at the Garden fight weekend, starring down literally EVERYONE that could even potentially be an upcoming opponent. Remember at the time he had no clue the Floyd fight would actually happen, so he was kinda surveying his options, testing people. His eyes were stone cold, man. Like he couldn't possibly lose, not in a braggadocios way, in a 100% certainty way. Majority of fighters met his gaze and immediately looked away or down, pretending they didn't notice. Even Woodley looked down. Only two fighters stared right back into his eyes and went face-to-face with him, ready to throw hands, and those were Rafael dos Años....and a rising, undefeated star-in-the-making named Khabib. This Conor epitomized the concept of "he could have beaten everyone in the arena that night." I miss him, man. I think he does too. Sad😢
He needed to rejoice. He's a pro fighter in the UFC and faced a wall that mad him overthink his reality. Be thankful you made it that far, people dream to reach for the stars but never be grateful they touched the moon.
He shouldn't be broadcasting that half of his family is from Liverpool im irish and 99.9% of irish people consider him a total scumbag so in my eyes its an insult to the decent anti establishment people from Liverpool love from limerick Ireland
