More half truth to me!!! A another system of seed that's still growing! Copper(various complexions of pennies) looking ppl during the discover of the Americans.
Just heard this on KUYI and absolutely loved it! Also glad to have discovered your work. Now I know who's singing all those awesome songs when I'm streaming the station on my phone :)
Listening to, I remember my grandfather's and uncles telling me of the great fight led by my great grandfather. Nicely done brother. Did I ever tell you the catas are the bloodline of Popey. Strength to you my brother, Seng waa oh aani'
Some of the best music in the world, easy. A few hundred views, 7 likes, and this is the first comment. It makes one wonder. And yet I suppose pearls were not meant to be cast before swine.

Where do you find rocks close to ABQ? I went up to Abiquiu without too much luck. It was there but the stuff I found was white translucent and very hard. I hear Jemez and mount Taylor have good obsidian but I haven't seriously looked. Any tips for finding chert?
Also, there are a lot of people outside of Missisippi and Oklahoma that are very "hungry" to learn Chahta. I speak with many people that really want to learn and speak the language. The most common challenge they say is finding others to communicate with in the language, however, with facebook and other technologies, hopefully this need can be met. Ambraya
A few of these MCBI statements are troubling to me. 1. I understand the urgency to get younger generation to learn the language, however, this is like telling Alabama's football team to make touchdowns and win games without a football and playbook! Young people need the tools so that the language can be learned as quickly as possible. This includes using internet classes and producing good quality FULL immersion programs in the public schools from grades K-6 from native speakers. This is what it is going to take to get the language back and keep it going to the next generation. I know firsthand how school immersion programs work because I once worked in a German immersion program in a school where kids were learning the language from grades 1-6. By fifth grade, these kids were speaking and having conversations in the language! I like what MBCI representative Dan Issaac said about the importance of reviving Chahta language and culture. 2. Writers, newspeople, artists, and TV filmakers should publish in Chahta. 3. I like Oklahoma's blood quantum requirements because it keeps families together. I had a great grandmother and great uncle who were full blooded Chahta. Thankfully, my family had enough documentation to prove that we were related to her and I was accepted into the tribe. I feel more connected to my full blooded Chahta family members even though they are now deceased. Learning Chatanumpa is special because I can now speak the language my full blooded family members spoke!
15 minutes is a safe, estimate! small pieces break easier, therefore require another level of cautious, precision! On a good run, I can make about 7 small points in an hour, considering that I always try for the biggest point, for the piece of material I start with, and in a hurry, I end up breaking tips , and ears, and bases , that can usually be turned into something else, quickly, due to the already worked portions ! I learn more after I walk away from it, drive for success ! keeps me tangled!
I have to say this is is the finest man I have ever met, kind, wonderful and full of knowledge. I personally model myself as a father after him, and well I miss him
Get out of here with the being made in 15minutes statistic. I have been knapping on glass bottles for a week straight and I havn't gotten anywhere near a functional arrowhead. I guess if you have been doing it since forever one gets pretty good at it. Anyway thanks for the video. It is definitely the best produced and most educational flint knapping video on youtube. Its a shame only 2,000 people have seen it.
