Florida Railfan based out of Tampa Bay. Expect videos from across the state with Amtrak, CSX, and FEC, along with a variety of shortlines. I also go up to Indiana a few times a year where I see Norfolk Southern mostly. I try to get you every angle of every train with GoPros, drones, phones, and cameras. Enjoy the videos and please subscribe! Thanks for watching.
Yeah the older K5LAs are great. I’ve already seen a couple videos of these chargers with fouled horns that sound like the P42s. They will probably sound similar after a while.
@@AmtrakTBL That would be dope,m some of the ALC’s sound solid, but their horns just sound weird in general I don’t know what it is. They stop abruptly, and have an artificial sound to them, I don’t doubt they will sound more natural in the future.
Thought the USA was a free country, this would never happen in the UK or Europe, Cops might think us railfans and aircraft photographers a bit weird sometimes, but 99.9% of the time you are left in peace.
awesome stuff I stayed at the days inn for a week while on vacation that you were behind in the second scene when i was about 10yrs old! everytime I'd hear them id run out the door to watch them go by. Brings back good memories!!
im located in oldsmar area and i would like to know more about the tampa to cleawater and st pete trains and how you know the information such as train L791 or O701 and how often they come through
L791 is just the new symbol for O701 and runs a few times every week through Oldsmar. There’s no set day but the go on duty in Clearwater at 6am on weekdays and either head to Tampa or St. Petersburg and then return later in the day.
@@AmtrakTBL thanks for that, it’s helpful, unfortunately I start work at 7 I can’t go see it during the week, strangely enough I caught a train going from Tampa to Clearwater early about 1 am. Looked like the largo rock train though not sure. how do you know the train symbols? I’m curious where that information comes from, thanks!
@@firewood539 Sometimes they run an extra train that can be off schedule and usually has a different symbol. How long ago was that? Also you can google csx train symbols and list of all of them should come up.
@@AmtrakTBL I just looked at the symbols, how cool because I found a couple local spots I can go see on Saturday, this was may 12th at about 1 am. I heard the 3 lines on the outgoing and incoming of the Tampa yard are usually pretty busy. As well as the Tampa-bradenton local that departs at 06:00 daily.
These crews aren’t used to having big GE units and I’m pretty sure he used too much independent brake and the rest of the train slack just ran into the locomotives.
So dumb. Firstly, I never miss an opportunity to be stopped by a train. But waiting maybe 1minite max vs an unsafe situation and closing the line down for a wreck, never worth it.
Awesome video & great drone shots!! 😁😁 May I make one small change to the description?? That was SGLR GE’s 594 & 593… the 574 that you mentioned would have been Seminole Gulf’s EMD GP9 that is not currently in the locomotive roster and the 573 is SGLR’s EMD GP9 that although is out of service right now is part of SGLR’s locomotive roster Otherwise great job!! Love it!! 😁😁
I miss the Amtrak and if I’m correct they also stopped Amtrak bus service in Clearwater and by the way where is exactly this old Amtrak station in St pete
