As a lifelong Cubs fan who fairly recently chose the Orioles to be his American League team... I can tell you... yes, indeed, it will end. Can't say win, can't say how... but this losing streak will end. Good times will come again. Then there may be another losing streak. And that one will end too. This is life.
I’ve been watching all these games after work in the back of the alley with random door dashers that swing by to pick up orders we love it win or lose appreciate the O’s flying around them bases. I’m used to it can’t wait to see them in Oakland JULY 5-7 I live in the Bay Area sadly vamos Baltimore 🧡🖤🪄🪄🪄
Your a hypocrite. You say take a risk on talent but deny the talent that Trevor Bauer is. You have this platform and you want to dog a guy you don’t know all because he had a beef with the commissioner who doesn’t like baseball. Watch what he’s done in Mexico how he interacts with teammates. He’s not a 25 year old diva anymore…
It would seem that there should be a lot of teams interested in like Oakland . What do you got to lose really . especially when you can get his kind of talent cheap
I don't think this has anything to do with Bauer's ability to pitch. It's all about the "distraction" he would bring to the team. Bauer was an oddball even without the controversy that got him suspended. All 30 teams have concluded that he's not worth the noise he would bring with him.
Sure thing. His non apology tour was Allan act. He only did it to try to get back in the league. No remorse and no accountability or responsibility. He’s out of MLB due to his own actions. Bottom line. If you say he was set up why did he fall in? He didn’t have to. He’s reckless. He’s a narcissist and sociopath. He’s a millionaire who no one should feel sorry for. Got paid 22 million last year by the Dodgers for nothing. He’s doing well.
@@jdsthird okay but what has he done to need to be remorseful? he hasn't done the things he's accused of, and outside of having a personality deemed "incorrect" by some, he's done nothing even remotely wrong. MLB players are paid to play baseball, not make people feel warm and fuzzy inside
Hey Ryan love your content and a huge O's fan....but as an Aussie we recognise that this was nothing but playful banter, like in 2000 when the US team said they were going to "smash the Aussies like guitars". 😂
Does anyone see the Orioles paying Santander, or O’Hearn as a FA or arbitration with Mullens or Hays . Also, I am not sure Cowser is an everyday player
Somebody please sign Trevor. At least put him at double or triple a for awhile and let him prove himself. He's innocent from what that evil woman put him thru. He won't disappoint.
Why did we take Stowers out of the rotation? His batting average is tied with Ohearn, and his slugging super high. Other than stats I also felt like he hit dingers at clutch times and hit the hell out of the ball. What am I missing? I’d take stowers over mullens as a bat .
So Bauer is dominating AA-AAA players in a hitter friendly league but can't even get a look from MLB teams?? Something is absolutely amiss. I hope he sues the SH*T out of Manfred, the Dodgers, and the MLB.
Bauer can still pitch at a MLB level. I’ve been surprised at how many players I’ve recognized in the Mexican League. Voit, Cano, Aquino and Tejada to name a few. One of the biggest differences between the leagues is defense, which would favor Bauer coming back. Not sure if they use humidors like they do in MLB (which has nullified power in Colorado). I’d expect Bauer to better than average with an ERA between 3.00 to 3.50. The lack of extreme elevation would help his consistency with grips and command as well. He is a bargain for league minimum and an arm without an innings limit. The next best option for available arms is Fedde, who spent last year dominating in the KBO, winning their version of Cy Young and MVP. Bauer is a better talent. Fedde is a better teammate.
I think if you’ve got enough good culture on a team you can bring in an iffy guy at the right price knowing he’s gotta come in and fit into the team. (Big thing the patriots, and other top tier NFL teams were able to do)
@@Alan-rw3ez that is absolutely the issue. The MLB is TERRIBLE at promoting it's players and the game itself. Too slow to adapt to the world that is today. Bauer called them out on it routinely. This is Manfred being thin skinned and petty.
@@Alan-rw3ezThere doesn’t have to be a black list or conspiracy. The situation is as simple as this: 30 GMs don’t want the distraction of a media circus for bringing in a guy with a looooong reputation for being a clubhouse cancer. There is no way anyone takes that risk on a 33-year-old guy with obvious character flaws and 10 years of mostly lackluster MLB performance to his name. Bauer is all risk and pretty much no reward.
Cade looked pretty good...even tho he didnt get through 6 he had good stuff...he didnt get no run support but I'll take that outing every day of the week...glad Heston got some AB's...he looked good too...stayed back on the ball and put it in left...Hope he sticks this time
The schedule in July looks a bit more forgiving for the O's and the September schedule is setting up to be a good month for the O's as well. We knew June was going to be like this and with the injuries to the rotation we have navigated this stretch pretty well. It would be nice for us to bounce back to take the series from Cleveland and Texas to end the month strong.
Hopefully Heston will play again today, unlike our moves with other rookies where they sit them for 3-4 days after having a good day at the plate because of match-ups and wind direction, and the humidity that day. I wouldn't mind seeing Heston, Colton, and Austin in the outfield and DH Santander.
You found your calling... not everyone is blessed to have a Cal Jr career... you were blessed to be part of the game of baseball at a high level... witch your love of the game shows in what you do now
