I was never really big into gaming, was always busy doing other stuff, but thought I would try and get into it a bit more, now that I've built a new decent PC!
It's frustrating! I can still see in that run where I could easily pull a few more seconds. After that I went and did an AI multiplayer run and managed an 8:48. Still find it amazing these guys which can manage sub 8:10. Maybe one day with thousands of hours practice and a bit of luck!
It's mental Pete! I went back on later and did managed to grab all 3 track medals in one straight run, so by the end of it my mind was done....... Now I just need to go back and push even harder, learn the various corner attacks and probably stuff it in the barriers a few times 🤣🤣
Yeah this is why you shouldnt pick quick race. Half the time the put you into an empty lobby. Use server browser and filter by drivers. Should find full lobbies using that
Hello laddie, Top Tip!!! lose the racing line, this will help you learn the tracks so much faster. Use visual markers for breaking points. A few other games ya might want to try on your nice new Racing Rig....iRacing - Automobilista 2..... Safe driving sir 😃
Cheers bud, I had been planning on turning it off as don't really use it now. My eyesight sometimes plays up (had a stroke a year ago) and having the line helps during those moments as can't process the visual queues rapidly. When I get back in a few weeks I'll turn it off and see how I get on. As for the other games, on the list, but waiting for settling into ACC before giving the noggin a mental overload with more 😀
Cheers Leppie, I did play around with the deadzones previously, but didn't feel like it improved things, I'll try again though. Hopefully don't have to endure it for long, the new wheels/pedals are on the way to the local village post office from the district PO, so hopefully get them today or Monday!
Hi @leppie, yes that sure is the plan, just waiting for the racing hardware to arrive and get the cockpit setup properly. Was only using a game controller and the steering control is not the best!
