ikr, personally when playing infantry, scavenging loot/weapons in the frontline is more exciting than manually getting equipment one by one from the base :D
From I know what made this fight so hard were 3 things, one to get to the base and cap it we had to get pass this chock point of a battle filed, two 82Dk and V where the two main groups who were owners of the bases so we were fighting vary experienced players, and 3 they had 5 storm cannons on the ready.
I was there once (this my second war btw) and i killed not one, but TWO collie tanks!!! One time when we got pushed back to the bb north of the Latch, when me and a few others got the genius idea of putting 4 mounted bonesaws into a trench, then spamming a tank when it got close, then afterwards when we pushed back to the Latch, where i became the only gunner to many drivers of a pushgun left behind locked that we unlocked with a wrench!
Callahan Passage is a No Man's Land for both Faction Right Now :v. If your BB is not Concrete yet, and no QRF on Standby, expect it to get destroyed :(
What everyone thought to be a short 2-week war, Turns out to be on its way to being one of the Longest War in Foxhole. Massive Thanks to [Turbo] Ryld & [RPLQ] Snow for providing Public Access to Battle Tank. Also Thankyou to [SF] Weewex for being our Battle Tank Commander and [27th] EmpowerDeith for being our FlameThrower Gunner o7 I've got to say being in the defensive faction this war, it's nice to be able to travel one zone ( and sometimes even in the same zone ) from our Bunker Base to the Frontline :D
Footage taken from War 114 ( As a Warden ) & War 115 ( As a Colonial ). We know that Battle Tank has been out for quite a while know, and in War 114 we finally decided to try to make our own BT from scratch using Facility, and in War 115 we decided to Buy Battle Tanks from Other Regiment using Raw Resources ( Thanks to [PARS] Sith Assasin for their Service and [92nd] Von Pokey for their FREE Battle Tank Giveaway ! ). And if you are a small group like us and would like to try a Battle Tank we suggest you buy a BT instead of building it from Scratch 😄. Hopefully this current war we will reach Battle Tank Tech, and we hope you enjoyed this Video 😇
If there's a flanking opportunity take it, If it's a good opportunity to push, speak in voice and initiate the push, sure you might fail most of the time, but after a while, you start to notice which situation to commit or not :D
Well... The Dev did Nerfed the Artilery by Increasing the Cost to Produce Artilery Ammo and Increasing the Health of Concrete Structure. Besides in what other Game can you Experience the True PTSD of an Artilery Barrage 😅. Though as a Bunker Base Builder Myself it can get really annoying, The Point is , in my opinion with the current state of the game, it sucks being a builder, and it sucks being an artilery crew, Win Win i guess 🙂
It still bothers/confuses us why the devs decided to switch the HV guns where the Colonial one fires 40mm and the Wardens fire 68mm. When playing Colonial, we wonder what's the point in making the Smelter when the Spatha can do literally the same job whilst having more mobility and survivability. In addition, Warden tanks usually have more armor so you would think that giving the opposing faction a 68mm HV gun would be the obvious choice for balance, but nooo devs just said "Have this HV40mm that is a hassle to prepare and operate, facing off againts Outlaws that have the same range as you, and generally tanks that has better armor so you can just observe all your shots bounce off and waste precious 40mm ammo," :v. Well on the other hand, as a Warden, the HV68mm is a potential gamechanger on a frontline. In this video, we had weather on our side where blizzard/snow reduces our visibilty to about 25m. This is why you could see in the video we can just fire so many shots and not receive any retaliation because the Colonials coudn't see us 🤣🤣 Anyway, about the new update. Well we are severely dissapointed that there is still no damn building QoL, in fact it just got worse with the new puddle mechanics 🥲🥲. For the facility husk... well it's a positive and a negative. Positive for the facility larpers (we sometimes facility larp aswell😅) but now partisans would have to commit double the resources to destroy a base/facility. Worse yet here comes a potential great wall of facility husk on a frontline. But then again, perhaps we don't understand the VISION for this game.. well we can only hope that the devs are cooking something good for the next big update.
Tbh, Wardens having the HV68 makes sense as the collies already have the Stygian which used to be a Rampart on crack and now is more of a mobile starbreaker
@FactionalSnow85-EL3 colonial tanks have better armor than warden tanks and more HP. Wardens just have a more varied roster with their more mobile cruiser tanks, while collies only have two very similar chassis for their battle tanks.
Just rewatching some pre-entrenched vids, really wild that we used to tank with the old camera. It gets even more insane with 45m ranges I’m glad they gave us the new cam lol
The purpose, based on their vid description, is to just get the T3 camo/drip. If I'm not mistaken the bardische only requires Pcons right to vet? Im guessing they vetted the Bardische just because its more simple to do, and well comps were practically infinite in war 112. Also T3 vehicles are bound to be targeted, so I guess it makes sense to vet the vehicle with the most armour in the faction arsenal. I was a warden in 112 and saw a lot of T3 vetted tanks.
@@redshot6869 i think all tonks need pcons only to vet its just this war was easier to vet thanks to massive economy boost also yeah t3 takes a lot of focus fire
@@redshot6869 Yes ! if im not mistakes T3 Bardhice only require 1 type of material, instead of the multiple material needed to vetted the other colonial tanks
Thoughts about the recent economy changes.... well component scarcity can just be thrown out of the window. No one asked for that specific change, and its just another classic dev move of changing things drastically rather than applying small changes per update. As a frequent infantry player, it is not enjoyable facing a wall of tanks in every front and knowing you have little to no method of countering it, aside from doing a coordinated wide flank with other people and rushing the tank wall from behind, killing one tank knowing that tens more are available in a depot somewhere. In addition to that, artillery shell output have been multiplied by 5 as well, and you can expect to face nonstop artillery barrage, that is just pure pain. Builders are only blessed with the removal of garrison multipliers, but other than that, investing a week to fully tech and concrete your base, knowing that waves after waves of disposable ballistas or chieftains, or nonstop artillery can just destroy all that work in minutes.... well, it is sad really. We do hope that the devs implement something to alleviate the effect of this resource abundancy, perhaps maybe having an overheat mechanic on artillery to give builders/defenders some breathing room, better infantry AT weapons, changes to tanks, etc.
@g0ooose589 I couldn't quite say, , but I would like to see something equivalent to how infantry guns work, spread and not always pinpoint accuracy. It would help alleviate the problem of hit scan vs infantry. It's a day dream though as I'm quite confident it won't happen.
i don't really care what tank you are unless your a bunch of btds or ltds treat the space infront of the 5 htds as a no go zone it has strong frontal armor so your shells going to bounce and it hits like a truck. It's slow and very very fuel inefficient so it can't be on the field for long it also super squishy and weak side armor and it turns really really slow so zone the flanks with ltds (which is why the ltd is number 1 on every wardens shit list)
The Speaking Woods - Basin Sionnach was by far the most brutal ww1 like frontline. The battle for these two hexes took 5 weeks. I was there as a warden and in the early game we have planned an op with soo many ACs. Our AC crews lost connection as they were trying to cross the border to Inari Base. The collies managed to steal more than 5 ACs :DDD
