Like how you clearly did presentation so I go back to it! The circulation of water though karstified rocks is similar to water circulation though non-karst terreins under normala hydrologic conditions aparat from some specific features. So I am pleasured that you explained various part of aqufiers and meaning of T2 aqufier. The lateral circulation in karst in karst is effected by following three concentrating mechanisms: overled flow, throughflow, i. e., flow though a layer of soli a ove limestone and subcutaneous flow. All like you also said on yours way in differnt karst type aqufier but always with same configuration because each of the above flows from one situation to another, depending u pon soil cover and vegetation of the catchement. If we put mechanisms of the prosess of ~GROUNDWATER TRANSMISSION ~ though the vadose zone we can devided 3 mechanisms like shat flow, vadose flow and vadose serpange zone. Brilliant way how you imply it so researching can start with only by knowing vertical flow and lateral flow and then create specific features of the surface in karst. Water storage in karst is primarily concerned with the construction of the surface storage reservoirs. In order to ensure their watertighteness it has been necessary in most cases, to smo plete extensive grouting water. The construction of grouting curtains ensures the watertighteness of surface reservoirs and at the same time it reduces or completely eliminates the communication between ground water in karst, thus groundwater storage are perfomed simeultaneously. As well in exp. Adriatic Sea area very frequently there are a great number of Karst spring phenomena located in a relatively narrow are with coastal surface and springs of fresh water. Submarine measurement have showed that morfophologic, geologic, sedimentary, hydrogeologic, geotectonic and hydrologic (temperature, energy of waves and salinity) standpoints. Fantastic information in this video 💕 I’d love to see an updated version of it because so much has changed in the way things are done in the six years since it was made. Killing paddocks off with “Round up” and herbicides for example, and we all know the damage tilling does to soil health. So please do another video 😊👍🏽

I had these on my lawn, I put biodegradeable dish soap water, after I washed dishes and tossed it, and I don't have them in the spots i did that. Dishwater kills weeds, but it takes time and you have to do it a lot, and make sure the soap is good for groundwater/nontoxic to pets. I used both dawn and simple green types. I always put fresh rinse water over it. It has been three years and I still have no more of them in the spots I dumped water on. You could use a sprayer, go heavy with it.
They're not that great, even in the USA. If you do a little research online, you'll find that they're considered a pest in at least California. Anything that damages an ecosystem is bad within that ecosystem. These are African plants, beautiful in their own habitat, but a serious problem elsewhere.

Gorse is a nuisance and I have never liked it, but this presentation used so much stigmatising language it made me laugh. There are benefits to Gorse, but I do get it that the negative issues outweigh them. I'm glad I don't need to battle with it where I live.
Here in the Northwest coast of America, English Broom (Scotch Broom as we call it) is taking over the state even in the mountains. They are not only out competing local species, they actually make the soil less suitable for native plants! And because they are poisonous, the brooms scare off animals.
Spray with roundup. This always kills them in my experience. Works best when they’re flowering. If you see them appearing in the same place again in following years, this does not mean the roundup did not work. It just means there were more seeds that did not germinate when you sprayed in the previous years. It can take up to 7 years to kill off the entire seed bank of this stubborn weed.
A commercial mix of MCPA and dicamba is excellent. It tends to kill the calthrop very quickly with a minimum of damage to other nearby vegetation. This is extremely important given its rapid growth. Roundup is not helpful because by the time you realize which plants you have missed it is too late. This other mix shows clear signs of dying within two days. So follow up sprays are a lot easier. When I want to dispose of old seeds I put them in a tub of putrid water. The contents of the seeds rot very quickly in dirty water. I use an old stock trough for the purpose. Just remember. Vigilance, vigilance and vigilance. If you wait two or three weeks between sprayings the weeds can have reached seeding. I try to do a cycle so I check the entire farm once each week in peak season. Gradually our seed load is diminishing after a decade of effort.
Great to see some efforts by the Wine Industry people to re establish some natural vegetation and habitat within and adjoining their vineyards. Hopefully this will eventually lead to benefits for both the natural environment and the vineyards/wineries. As one who loves having the Adelaide Hills just a short drive from home, I enjoy visiting the wineries, seeing the jobs and opportunities being created. The native trees and vegetation are an important part of what keeps visitors coming back to the Hills. I hope all those affected by the recent fires are able to keep motivated and re establish or even improve on what they lost. Keep up the good work!
So, you are so confused that firstly you say that willows are river banks stabilizer, then you say it creates erosion! Willows provide shelter, cool the envitonment and enrich the soil. Gum trees poison water, and their resins act as an herbicide which obviously leeds to further erosion.
