Also the relationship and marriage with Anne Bolyn was incredible and a well known love story throughout history I still believe today that she never did the things she was accused of
Katherine Parr suffered too, she was almost killed when started to discuss religion and theology with him. Just saved herself due to the allies she made. One of them was the guard who warned her about the warrant to arrest her. She saved her life by saying to Henry she discussed those matters to lift his spirit. In the end Thomas Seymour tried to abuse Elizabeth while married to her and she died in childbirth.
I don't think the Queen Slayer could keep record of all his wives names. I'm pretty sure this guy would have been much happier if he married one dude instead! 😅 Anne of Cleves was supposed to be the ugly one. I guess "ugly" in real life is not the same as "TV ugly"
I really thought that I was losing my marbles when [the actress playing] Jane changed in season 3. Even the recaps showed the new Jane. Apparently (?) the directors did not want to go forward with the clearly devious Jane. Annabelle was a much softer, kinder version. No scheming involved.
Yes, quite different from the real one. I think Anne Boleyn would never fall in the triangulation thing and keep on rivaling with other women nowadays, but she would want justice and all these illusions of “saint Jane” faded. At least Henry knowing he was also manipulated by her and other Anne’s enemies. Regardless of he wanting get rid of her in anyway and believing his own lies and others for his conveniences…
It’s strange how...in reality Henry got rid of Anne of Cleves because he didn’t like her appearance....but on the paintings.....some of the others look less attractive!
The accepted portrait of Katherine Howard is now suspected to be of Jane Seymour's sister (and it certainly looks like an older woman...AND has the same profile as Jane). Presumably, portraits of Katherine Howard were not popular after her fall from favour and were destroyed (as were Anne Boleyn's)
ONLY thing by Anne Boleyn he was fat OBEAST diabetic with a leg infection that was killing him from the inside..it smell so bad of rotting flesh I don't know how the other women could put up with the disgusting smell. It was said you could smell him 3 ROOMS AWAY in the castle HAMPTON COURT. He in his middle 50s marrys a teenage girl by today standards ppl would call him disgusting pig nobility especially .. Even then ppl had to have lift an eyebrow. He was impotent . could have sex 50 times and not get a fertile woman pregnant not even the teenage girl cause the infection deep routed inside his blood was not only making him mad but much less be viral enough to make a child there for his last wife may have told him your not cutting my head off if u cannot produce..sick man.. Pray GOD SAW HIM COMING ..
I firmly believed that if henry had slept with his fourth wife anne of cleves i bet you he would have had many healthly sons. Looks ain't everything...... It the services she would have provided.
The two I feel for are Queen Jane because she did her best and still died and Kitty H who was a silly girl in over her head. Anne B was the smartest but Anne C was the wisest: when given a chance she ran like hell!
When Henry was dead, she will be punished by 6 girl and more, one of it just see it, two of divorce and two of no head will give the punished to his majesty because of in heaven there was no one can bigger than God... Henry may received the punishments from his majesty 6 wife... It maybe interesting... (just kidding..
Actually his sixth wife, Catherine Parr, the one he was married to upon his death, died in childbirth, similar to Jane Seymour, 21 months after Henry's death. She married around 11 months after Henry died and conceived soon after..Actually Anne Cleves, the one he divorced after a few days, was the last to die, in 1557 but his first, Catherine of Aragon, lived the longest dyeing at 50, maybe being the aunt of the King of Spain who was also Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire made Henry a little fearful of killing her.
@@janefelix3821 Henry couldn't kill his first and fourth wives because they were from powerful families and he would have ended up starting a war with them if he did.
The costumes are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen and the sets were grandiose. What I didn,t like are the stilted speeches like something out of shakespere. Did they really talk this way? my lady, my Lord. And being at court must of been horrendously scary. I feel most for the young Kate, Anne and especially Eliz as beth. Translate to Italian . Chaio!
About Henry Vlll. It is all about seductions.... And he did have seduced by other women... Which it wasn’t his women.... And ended up, he could’ve forgive himself who seduced.... Only they knows, within they themselves....
Not quite - Anne of Cleves didn’t get a divorce her marriage was annulled and Katherine Parr was conspired against but Henry died of heart failure before he could decide her demise, she lived as a widow in peace until her own passing
Not quite!! After an indecently short mourning period, Katherine Parr married Thomas Seymour, Queen Jane's brother, and died trying to give him a child
Katherine parr married Jane's brother who molested elizabeth. Katherine figured out what was going on and sent Elizabeth away. She then died in child birth.
They were not rediculous just a bit innacutrate and Anne did bring the French hairdress into popularity which did show alot of hair but Jane Seymour did have it removed out of love for Catherine
