Every inch of a SC is absolutely stunning! The sleek design, the roar of the 18 cylinder Wright R-3350 cyclone engines, cabin structure and deck layout in my opinion was far before its time. If I had the money, I would have one in my backyard!
I was stationed with a Naval Transport Squadron VR8 at Hickam Field Hawaii in 1955 &56 as a structural mechanic in the Navy.We flew out of Hickam as far Saudi Arabia to the west and San Francisco east , I was part of a plane crew on 6 of these flights and ground maintenance the rest of the time . I made a research to find a video of that specific day, what a chance, thanks a lot ! I took Swiss from Barcelona to Zurich that same day in a A321. I am usualy not afraid in flight and I actualy did that day during landing, especialy when the plane's wing badly tilted near the ground, exactly like this one. The trafic were strongly disturbed.
Compliments verry nice, two questions is te terminalroof also open for visitors or only passengers. If it is only open for passengers do you mind if I used a few shots of incomming airplanes for my vlog for this week.
Which one of these major Airbus aircrafts is the best, just like the major competitors? A320 (family), A220, A320neo (family), A330, A350, A330neo, or the A380? What do you think?
