Hello - yes this is a good question. The CDI Module ( not TCI ) as we sell, You find on the market for used parts. New it's no longer available. The part code is: 3MW8554000. As soon it will get complicated to get a one, I will produce a replacement. But at moment You get on Ebay a used one for 60 Eur. And its easy to distinguish- because of the the different connectors.
Interessantes Teil! Ist das denn legal in Deutschland? Was genau tut die Box? Was riskiere ich bei Fehlverhalten im Vergleich zum Originalaufbau? Kann ich es ohne Probleme rückbauen?
Zum Glück gibt es für elektronische Teile am Motorrad nicht auch noch eine E- Nummer. Es reicht schon wenn jedes Blinkerglas eine hat.... Sie kaufen hier also ein Ersatzteil als Ersatz für das bestehende Modul welches in Funktion und Ausführung gleichwertig wie das originale ist.
@@chummine Ah ich verstehe, danke für die Erklärung. Dennoch eine Frage: Sie sagen, dass man damit bis zu 115 km/h fahren kann. Laut Wikipedia liegt die Höchstgeschwindigkeit bei 102 km/h. Dann liegt doch eine Art Leistungssteigerung vor? Gruß.
@@martinparidon9056 Sie dürfen eine Leistungssteigerung bis 20% ohne Gutachten an Ihrem Motorrad vornehmen. - So viel zur Rechtslage. Aber dieses Modul macht dies nicht. Sie haben ein besseres Startverhalten und gute Zündleistung - aber keine Leistungssteigerung. Es ist ein reines Ersatzteil. Wir haben aber zu Anfang programmierbare Module verkauft mit einer Leistungssteigerung. Da war aber kein Bedarf da. Da die Zündmodule reihenweise aussteigen sind die SR125 User dankbar wenn es einfach nur ein Ersatzteil gibt...

Never rev a cold engine from the start up without a 20 second tick over first, also allow the revs to drop and tick over for at least 10 seconds before turning the ignition off.
If this price is worth to invest for Your bike I can't answer. But typical errors for TCI's ( Transistor Controlled Ignition) is that at a certain temperature they do not work because there is a crack in a silicium part. I had also a XZ550 - when I was starting this bike below 10° it suffers that one cylinder was not working for 5 minutes till the ignition has reached a temperature over a certain value.
