Mine city bronzer was horrible! Maybe i got bad batch but it was the patchiest bronzer ever. I couldn’t even use it once. It was so messy like its life depends on it. So sad
When I sang in choral concerts, pre-pandemic, I always wore Mac's Ruby Woo. It stays and lasts and it doesn't need tending as a lot of reds do. People complain about it being dry and matte but being dry and matte is why it's as good as it is. I'm not fond of sheer lip colors, because I'm paying for the pigment when I buy a lipstick. You can sheer out a pigmented color. Sheer lipsticks are much more limited. Of course, now the singers are all wearing resonance masks and lipstick is pointless. You can wear it as a cream blush at least for a little color on your face.

I've proudly been able to stay pale all summer for the last few years! I hate the heat/humidity anyway and usually end up staying indoors most of the day until evening when I sometimes take a walk outside. I've never been too much of a beach person either, especially during Summer. Skin cancer sucks too, of course, which is another perfect reason to stay out of the sun as much as possible.
I’ve never tried the Physicians Formula face products that contain that smelly murmuru scent because it actually makes me gag. Literally gag. It’s one of the most offensive smells I’ve ever encountered in makeup- which says a lot because a lot of makeup is riddled with aromas. I’m glad to know I’m not alone.

Looks nice on you, but you did not say your shade!! At least not clearly -- there was one sentence in which U talked about your shade and said it was a good match, but I played that part over and over rewound it several times and no shade was mentioned that I could understand nor was it in the caps which are turned on. It's so important to me for those online to state their shades because I can't get out in the stores (long b4 the pandemic) to see the products, & must order online and depend on ppl who have skin tone similar to mine. Emily Noel recently featured a beautiful warm color of this Maybelline lip product, but I couldn’t find anyone who spoke about the smell. That’s my one reason why I may buy one or two here and there, but I LOATHE the smell of Maybelline lipsticks. Even if I really adore a color or formula, I cannot get on board with that play-doh scent. I mean, it’s going on your lips, after all.
I hate my skin so much :( Im Irish but I love the sun, traveling, the heat. Unfortunately I burn like a crisp no matter what so I can't enjoy the things I do with ease in hot countries. Hiking, rock climbing etc. My face just turns bright red the minute I start to sweat. Yet other Irish people tan really well and never want to leave our rainy cold country. Fuck genetics :(
Butter bronzer smells like chemicals to me. But since having children my nose is like a blood hound and very sensitive. The smell almost assaults my nose. I love the smell of sunscreen or coconut type products but that bronzer, and the copycats for that matter, do not smell like sunscreen. If my bronzer smelled like Hawaiian Tropic I’d be on board. And I also danced around buying it for about a year. I finally found it at Walmart for $12 and thought that was as good as it was going to get. I actually like the essence one a lot.

Try cover fx's matte bronzer in sunkissed, NARS laguna bronzer (this one has small shimmers, but they're literally undetectable on the skin), or I heart makeup's bronze and glow duo.
