It Go is a REALLY well-composed track, and probably one of, if not, my favourite A Dance of Fire and Ice levels. The instruments used really give an epic, boss fight-feeling, and challenging vibe, making it stand out amongst the ADOFAI OST as one of the most memorable, catchy, and really good tracks. The background art and animations giving the atmosphere of breaking into a weaponised robot production factory, and bringing it to the ground is really cool, and adds to the overall feel of the level. Finally, the lore. I never expected any rhythm game I'd play to have some sort of lore or meaning, but there's definitely something there with It Go. Personally, I feel like It Go and Artificial Chariot are linked in some way. It Go is the aftermath of Artificial Chariot -- The goat that's watching you on the screens in Artificial Chariot, as you evade all the robot heads in this level is the same goat that owns the weaponised robot production facility It Go is set in. After failing to stop you in Artificial Chariot, it felt like it had one last chance to put an end to your reign of bringing balance to the universe once more. And It Go is the goat's final attempt to stop you, and it throws everything it has at you. The true final boss of World XI for me is the Robot Dragon, which you destroy at the end of It Go. Overall, banger level. Amazing music, and awesome backgrounds and visuals!
Tbh I enjoyed Edega a lot in the newest chapter and found it fascinating the role he played for the new chapter. I can't get a full read on if he is meant to be a "villain" or if he is meant to be this type of character who simply has their own motives and has to play the hardass while in the public presence (honestly this would be a pretty interesting way to subvert expectations, but I'm fine either way.) That being said, can't wait to see what is in store for the future! 😊
The collab is everything in the video. Rhythm Doctor has 1 vivid/stasis song, while vivid/stasis has 1 Rhythm Doctor song and 1 A Dance of Fire and Ice song.
the visuals in this game and the window manipulation are all so encapsulating and good, the music pairs excellently with all of it, very amazing game!!
The last part (before the slow part) is genuinely so good. I find myself constantly killing myself just to hear that part again. Props to you DM DOKURO.
