This channel is all about self-improvement and better ideas. I want to provide the help for people that I never got. Let's create a more nurturing society where people can make the most of their specialities without feeling the inner resistance that characterizes so much of modern living.
@@otherlvls1637 As a complete newbie you are valuable just because you are an extra pair of hands to go fetch things and clean up so don't worry about tools just yet. Wait till your first week on the job to see what tools your job site is missing or what they require you to have.
Great video. As an electrician, i was and still am the tool guy. My first power tool was a recip saw, which most electricians do not have. Older guys loved having me around. I can cut anything you want, including garbage. Also buy a bucket and engrave your name on it (people steal buckets). We all laughed at one apprectice because he brought his own bucket to work, but that dude was your best friend when you needed a bucket.
I hope you see my comment and please continue informing us on your experience with major and minor problems in the industry, it really does help some of us upcoming artisans in the long run and may God bless you with your journey 💯🙏
Bro i hace my diploma in manufacturing engineering with the 720 hrs of inschool requirements for 433A completed. How do i find apprenticeship here in Ontario
Sounds like you still have some insecurities to overcome. Someone who looks good/ has style, doesn’t care about how society views him/her, but how he/her views themselves.
Damn i didnthe same thing shaved my head in 2019. My hairlines been questionable since 2023. My vanity is a great deal of anxiety. Even last year i suffered alot for being broke and stuck paying for broken car rent etc. Looked like ass. Only now im able to dress well. But same thing as you. Im still not where i need to be. But you are right 20s you really cant look anywhere but within for guidance. Unless you have good male leadership
Bro can you guide me on how to become an apprentice in millwright here in Canada.... I have a bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering and now I'm enrolled in trade related program... Any information regarding this would be really helpful...
I've shut the door on others without feeling guilty. Like you say, it would be too low-level. They accost you at their level, with whatever motivates them. I have to maintain my level, constantly reaching higher, not lower. Elitist? Why not? Reminds me of a book by Julius Evola: "Ride the Tiger: A Survival Manual for the Aristocrats of the Soul".
Feel like there's a ton of margins at the board like I certainly think outworking players is a real thing. In reality the efforts at the board usually play a bigger role than opening preparation and sometimes even training although in the long term training usually accomplishes something. I get what you are saying though def playing angry or tilted is not helpful but i do know some examples of people who have made it work for them.
Playing chess feels thrill seeking to me I swear the highs and lows with it are so extreme. Plus with entry fees and prizes its starting to feel a bit closer to gambling
Interesting video i sorta wonder if being open to attract women in a way is the same as changing yourself for the approval of others. A lot of girls probably hang out with gay guys because a lot of them like to sing dance etc. but not everyone likes those things. Even the whole being attractive to women thing could be skewed because similar hobbies could be driving the attraction a bit. Like if I met a girl that liked going through chess books playing blitz and making childish jokes she would have to look like jabba the hut and smoke crack every day for me not to find her attractive and even then if she's like down to Dvoretzky and chill idk. Also gay guys are unlikely to try to sleep with women and i presume women who are going out dancing and stuff probably like having some guy with them that isn't trying to sleep with them.
You have a point, legit you just gotta be you and own your interests and you'll find a girl like who you're describing. But I'm wondering if you really can get away with not doing things like singing and dancing, I feel like they are so fundamental to what it is to be human. If a person doesn't sing and dance, are they even mentally healthy?

-as an apprentice you’re very useful even just for your capacity to lift things and be a pair of extra hands, so never doubt that you’re useful. You will learn fast as you shadow.
-learn to anticipate what the job needs done, be ahead of the puck, don’t sit and wait around for something to do; there are always bolts to be taken out, gaskets to be cut, things to be cleaned, etc.
Coast headlamp. Not sure of model name but you can pop it off the mount and it has a very strong magnet. Rechargeable batteries. I have to wear a hard hat so it’s super convenient
