Planning a tropical beach vacation in Florida? Then watch these helpful videos. Hi, This is Mike the Beach Guy coming to you from the beautiful west coast of Florida - along the Gulf Beaches also referred to as the "Suncoast." This Channel and its videos are here to assist you in your planning and scheduling of your tropical beach vacation. It will also give you information to help you become familiar with this phenomenal Florida Gulf Coast tropical beach area with respects to the various awesome beach communities. I have initially focused on what is referred to the "barrier island communities" in and around Tampa Bay, Clearwater, and St Petersburg Florida - such as Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, St Pete Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, etc...
We've stayed at the Treasure Island Beach Resort a few times now, and it's a great place to stay. Quiet, clean, great for families, and the gulf-front 2bd suites are awesome.
Hey Mike. Wondering if you can do a video about the best hotels/condos to stay at St. Pete Beach? Aside from the Don Ce Sar, and the Sirata, I don't know which ones are good. thank you! :)
Hi Vida. What good timing with your question. I just posted my latest St Pete Beach video on St Pete Beach Hotels. While I do cover "The Don", I also highlight several others as well. Hope this helps. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-F8BjFiM43fs.html
Thanks for your feedback. It is very helpful in refining my content. FYI I have other videos on Madeira Beach (Overview, Restaurants, and Fun Things to Do) there if you want to check them out also. I also have a separate video on just John's Pass Village and Boardwalk in Mad Beach.
I have a question I used to live at what I believe was the suncoast motel and apts way back in the late 80's and if I remember right we had the suite on the 2nd floor and we also had a deck that overlooked the pool straight ahead and from the deck there were stairs as you were looking at it from the beach on the right side. I also remember there was a low lying shed that housed the pool equipment probably 2 or 3 feet tall. I am going to have to look at google maps at some of the places but the address sound familiar to me.
Hi Brett. The current Suncoast Motel and Apts is still there and operating. There is now also another side called Suncoast Beach Villas which are small attached cottages. They are very popular with vacationers. And, yes the wood deck still overlooks the pool. - Mike the Beach Guy.
When I lived in Treasure Island my family used to eat at the Bilmar and they had probably the best grouper sandwiches there and the atmosphere was awesome. Also 30 years ago we stayed there for vacation and it was awesome.
When I used to live in the area Treasure island to be exact I went there all the time and loved it and I was a teen at the time and this was back in the early 90's and even before I could drive I would ride my bike to there and hang out for hours at a time and for a short time I did have a job on one of the charter fishing boats there. Someday I will go back there I love it there when I was a teen. The last time I was there was 30 years ago this year. The friendly fisherman is still there awesome and I think right below them there was a bar that had live entertainment I think like I said it's been over 30 years since I've been there. I just want to thank you for the video I moved to the area when I was 14 and basically grew up there and moved away when I was 18 and just watching the video it brought back so many happy memories.
“Light it Up” Clearwater Beach Midnight New Years fireworks celebration allows residents and visitors to relax with their toes in the sand, watch one of Clearwater's world-famous sunsets, grab a bite to eat and then ring in the New Year at midnight. Best Viewing Locations are all along Clearwater Beach, especially near the southern end.
Hello, nice video, very beautiful places, delicious food, wonderful walking tour, thank you for sharing, friendly like, good luck and all the best, have a nice evening🤗🤗😍😍
Thanks a lot Mike. Really enjoy your videos of Treasure Island, our favorite Florida vacation spot. We've been going to Thunderbird for several years and good to know Turbo and Lily are still there. My, they spruced this place up! Love the new color. You got our subscription and a like. Maybe we'll see you in July. The Ludwigs from Indiana.
My family spends hours here. We have to pry the kids out of the arcade every time we go. The shops have everything you could ever want from $10 jewelry to unique beach items and tons of places to eat. We see dolphins every time we go❤
There's SO much to do, just in Johns Pass alone. One of my favorites is to take the grandkids to the Arcade on the 2nd level. There's things for every age (even me)!
Thanks for visiting the channel! I know this one didn't have a lot of hotels - but that's the "personality" of the Redingtons - mostly focused on residential. Please let me know what others videos you would like to see.
