Hi Ray. I’m a bit late to the party but we have just bought a 2016 SWB Vivaro to convert into a campervan. We have just fitted two side windows (ours is two side doors). And fitted two rear windows. So we just found your channel and getting great ideas from your videos. In this carpeting video, I was wondering how you got the shape of the panel to make a template for cutting the board? Any advice on this would be very much appreciated. Cheers. Colin.
I'm thinking of converting a SWB Vivaro and I love your conversion , In my case I might make the bed easily removeable for using the van to carry stuff .Also I wonder if using metal sliders would make the bed easier to push into bed mode and back to seating mode , I think you can get heavy duty metal sliders which would do this job well .
Hello Ray, What a lovely toy. You seem to becoming very proficient in it's use. I look forward to seeing a video when you're out walking your dog. I wish that I had had one when my Springer dogs were working as flushers and or retrievers on the shooting estates in Scotland. I wonder if that would have been allowed. Probably not as the sound of the drone would startle the game and prevent the guns from having a shot.
You built the swivel base? Well done, I bought mine, likewise with the R&R bed...the only way to do it IMHO. Chuck all the bedding over the back. I see you cut of the roof bar lugs like me giving extra headroom, again the right way to do it. The only main difference is I have no leisure battery. Nice job mate. Our Perdigueiro dog sleeps on the double seat. Lots of old towels..
@allanb52 Thanks for your comments. I didn't actually cut anything off the roof, I simply glued the wooden batons to the roof along side the metal beams. 👍
@@raygibbins Okay mines older an 08, they changed to a cam chain in 07, bought mine in 2015. Not sure what the lugs were there for, maybe Vauxhall thought the same. Bonne chance!!
Hi mate , Nice and informative video. Would you mind to help me out a bit. I have 2016 vauxhall vivaro va and have a problem with change from standard internal light to led one. Seems like factory fited lights has a three wire system when most aftermarket led lights only have 2 negative and positive wires. Do you know how to install 2 wire light to the 3 wire one? Many thanks in advance
Hi. Sorry can't really help. I left the original lights fitted and connected. The LED puck lights are on a separate circuit running off the leasure battery.
Just stand there and wait. I've own multiple welshies and wire haired fox (who once tried to fight a garbage truck), once whatever triggered his excitement is out of view they quickly lose focus. Wonderful dogs but also the a perfect representation of ADHD.
I wanted to fit a heater, but if you look at video part 8, you will see that my custom made bed und cupboards really don't leave me many options as to where to fit one.
What have you glued the framing of the ceiling with? Looks like a great solution to drilling. Also how long does it need to dry completely and be ready for the ceiling to be installed?
