TGN (AKA The Goal Net AKA The Goalie Network) is about the gear. It's not about becoming influencer or me the person and that's why all content is created from the 1st person point of view. Over the 5+ years since TGN has existed, strong relationships have been built up with the major equipment OEMs. Those relationships are used to get insider information and deep dives on all the new products released.
Note: No reviews are paid for by any brands and there is no fee to appear on this channel or TGN social media. Much of the gear reviewed on this channel is provided by the companies to test, but that's it. All reviews and opinions are my own and no reviews are censored by brands. If I don't like something, I will tell you!
But with the mach the did a deeper chanel on the boot so the pad Will sitt more like a hyperlite in size , but like before it was like If you were M in supreme you were L in hyperlite but thats gone
Saw this mask in store and it's way too heavy. The shape of the shell is kinda werird looking and the hidden strap attachments are not needed. Just harder to adjust now. Haven't seen a single NHL tendy use this on-ice in a game. Unfortunately I think this product is a miss.
Love the sound of your specs. Like the idea of locking the chest inside the pants. I want to use suspenders but they have always fallen inside or outside and been a total annoyance in-game. Also don’t want huge. So the smaller floaters sounds appealing. Wasn’t even going to consider Brian’s for my new chest but I’ll be looking at it now.
Note: Got my specs wrong between what I ordered and stock!!! Axis 2 = Loose fit leg channel for stock. I ordered tight fight as a custom option. EFlex 6 = Tight fit stock
not an option with CCM's current printing setup. The printing is not fully launched yet, I have a beta concept basically helping to test the printing capability
Just ordered an eflex 6.9 glove. Wanted to go back to a 580 Feel like I haven’t been able to catch at the top of my game since my Koho 580s. We will see. I’m 50 this year. Went with the 6.9 over custom since I may not need the gear to last years and I can only hope I like the break angle. Thanks for the overview.
at 14:25 you talk about the NHL lacing in calf wrap. Looking at the customizer, the total custom pro shows exposed lacing where in your video the lacing looks enclosed with calf wrap. Trying to build a pair of pads to order and would like it as shown in your video and want to make sure that I get it right.
My lacing is exposed. It black lace on black carbon weave with bright lights. If you don't see it clearly, it's just a glare an optical illusion. On stock retail EF6, there are no laces at all there. You can at least see the "dents" where the lacing goes in and out
@@thegoalnet5915 Oh, okay. I read someone's comment that the lacing comes in contact with the ice and can accumulate snow and impact sliding. Based on this, avoiding the lace is probably the way to go.
Hey thanks for taking the time to post this review. I have been researching ALOT, and had narrowed it down to a few choices, and this review was the last piece I needed to hear. The irony is my was interest was less about the Matzilla and more about EZ Tee Hybrid. The Matzilla snuck in late to my research, but I had to give it a good look at its price point. Your comparison chapter showing the differences was huge for me. I was very concerned about the squishy stance situation followed by the "grabbiness" of the surface. I pulled the trigger on the EZ Tee Hybrid, and can't be happier. I bought the 4' x 10' to accommodate LH and RH players. It is still a little squishy for a stance mat, but not to the point I think it effects swing. I couldn't imagine the squish of the Matzilla... definitely would not have been happy with it based on your visual comparison. Thanks dude.
negative, that's apple bud. Have a 13 Pro and sometimes the auto focus doesn't like what I am doing and gets blurry. This isn't hollywood... you will survive
I love my px3 set. Coming from hyperlites it took a few skates to get used to how stiff the thigh rise is. But i absolutely love them now im all dialed in.
The boot was much softer then expected which I like alot. I love the stiffer thigh rise. I'm really considering switching Vaughn v7 to true. I was wearing v9s they were too big. I found the quickslide. Slide too much. I think it's more how well true fits on you..
Almost no one outside of existing Vaughn customers wants that. With that said… why not just order a Vaughn if you want a very soft pad? Why order a True?
I am thinking of buying this same chesty. Do you get lots of stingers with it? I currently have the 1x and get stingers in my biceps but otherwise it’s pretty good. My 1x is just falling apart over the years of use.
