I have a 96 mustang that has the plug in the trunk to reset . I haven’t tried starting it while shorting it out but it’s not going into training mode any ideas ?
Cool I switched my passenger side to my driver side since mine didn’t have it I just bolted in really tight so it doesn’t swing with my arm resting on it just with force with my hand thanks saved me time from going back n forth to find the right bit for it took me like 1-2 minutes
I have a 1997 F250 with only one, so I purchased 2 more FOB's and your video WORKS GREAT...THANK YOU! To avoid confusion...the "gray tab" mentioned is an empty gray wire connector. I did not have to remove the lower instrument panel cover it is easily accessible on my F250. If you want/have to remove the lower instrument panel cover, be careful not to break the plastic upper instrument panel connector tabs.
@@bcsprothree Mi car is this model: cloud10.todocoleccion.online/coches-a-escala/tc/2015/03/27/20/48576820_24920525.webp And as you can see, there is only one hole with a rivet. Nothing more. No screw. And my question is... if i open the car unmounted the rivet, then can i mount it with a screw instead of the rivet? The hole of the rivet has a screw rail? (sorry my english)
Not sure on these older truck but if he's certified maybe follow his advice lol. These fobs i bought were super cheap. And it may add a bit of value to the truck so worth it imo. Sorry i cant be much more help never heard of that problem before.
