@@sleuthed4529 I’ve worked jobs ever since I was 14 mostly detailing stuff, but it’s all about saving. I’m still 17 so i live with my parents and have no expenses, so you just need to learn how to cut unessacary expenses and just put it into a savings account so you can buy the car cash, I wouldn’t finance one of these personally. My biggest pieces of advice to you are 1. don’t get an X because owners end up regretting it and try converting theirs to rwd, and get a sport model. 2. Don’t settle for a base model like me cause i ended up paying thousands extra just to buy the goodies that the sports come with (paddle shifters, big brakes, trunk spoiler, lsd, better seats etc.) and Adult owned because these G’s get trashed on and are left unmaintained by their younger demographic.
@@MattheMe really appreciate the in-depth reply bro. I am also wondering what your opinions are on buying G's from fb marketplace vs dealerships and what to look out for in terms of issues with the g37s!
@@sleuthed4529 I bought mine on marketplace from an older gentleman who used it as his daily and kept it stock which is a good sign. Buying this type of a car from a dealership will cost you more in the long run and is generally unessacary imo given the car is moderately inexpensive. Since you are looking at newer ones, you may not encounter these issues, because mine is 09 with high mileage but Always ask the seller for the VIN and buy a carfax report! i’ve had people lie and say they don’t know much about the cars history and when you buy a vehicle report it becomes clear why (shows damage history, service history, previous residencies etc.) look out for power steering fluid leaking (means power steering is about to take a shit) sunroof drain leak, steering wheel wobble between 40-50 mph (front control arm issue) make sure A/c blows cold cause i just paid right under 3k to get mine fixed because 3 components need to be replaced when the A/c goes out on g37s, and never entertain anything without a clean title. trust me i know those deals look good.
Good shit. Idk if I should save for this or the Jaguar f type. Did the maintenance cost thousands for each issue. How many things did you have to replace over time.
Nothing other than issues with the VVT, jaguar isn’t known necessarily for their reliability either, but if i went f type it would have to be an SVR imo. But overall the 08-13 models are pretty reliable when taken care of.
it just runs from under the rear seat where the projector is to the lid of the center console i didn’t bother running it under the carpet and it’s still fairly discrete
personally i sit with the seat to the lowest setting and recline it quite a bit, and the seats go back very far because it’s a coupe with backseat legroom as well, i’m 5,8 for reference, and headroom has never been an issue for me. but i’d find one for sale near you and just see how you fit and if the headroom and legroom can accommodate to you.
